2006 AAA Diamond Parking Needed

For anyone who is travelling to WDW in January and who will be done with their 2006 AAA Diamond Parking Pass, I'm willing to trade a Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club towel or tote bag for it. do they really check the dates on these passes????

we were there in december

while walking into Epcot we came across the diamond parking area near the front of the parking area for that day....a few had Diamond Parking with a 2004 date on it.....and it was clearly displayed in the windshield area

How funny! Were the 2004 passes the same color as 2005? If they remain the same in 2006, maybe I can use my old one till I can get a "legal" one! I do know that they will sometimes let you use them during the blackout dates if it's not too crowded (but I have also had them NOT let me use my pass even when a date is not blacked out, particularly at Epcot...they use the Epcot lots for a lot of special events parking).
