I thought the June gloom weather was bad but now with this warning. At least we have the technology to be warned. It's not so much the warning and such but the reminder of the past December tragedy whilst having the vacation excitement! I have NEVER experienced this warning before! Flash floods yes, this no! Wierd.

To my my fellow DIS friends, have a fantastic vacation! We sail the week after you, 6/25. How exciting for you all

HI all!

I'm getting a little nervous about the clothes I can't get into my suitcase. I think I will have to borrow a suitcase (i've used all of the ones we own) just for the evening attire!!

I will be making one more trip to Walmart, just heard that Imodium is better than Pepto! Just in case the virus hits, I'll have something!!

Got a little nervous last night with the tsunami, we are right on the coast. Lots of phone calls checking for the latest information. Scary.

I hope I get to meet you all on Saturday. This has been a very fun way to get information. I appreciate everyones input.

There's a brand new Walmart opening up today. It's right off the 405 freeway & Normandie (near the 405/110 interchange)....just in case you need to stop for something.

I am so inept. I am still trying to load the disney font so I can make something! Thought a "Happy Father's Day" sign would be appropriate. We'll see what i can come with in the next two days between picking up dry cleaning, putting together teacher's gifts, end of year party food.........oh, yea, and packing!!!

I finished our door signs yesterday. I don't know how to post them, so you'll just have to stop by and say to see them.
I did a family one and then several smaller "day" ones: DD's birthday, father's day, pirate night, etc.

Just got back from 4th grade end of year party -- ALMOST made it back to the car before youngest daughter melted down (she didn't want to leave!) 5th grade end of year party is on Friday.

Last night we were talking about leaving for the cruise Saturday after breakfast. DD11 says " and we'll be all packed by then?" aack!

I'm going to pack some more now ....

CaCrusin....As soon as Rae Ann is through packing I told her to send "Magic Packing Wand" your way. It does work wonders. Your door signs sound great. I put DLander in charge of ours. Hope she has done her job. Time is wasting I leave for California tomorrow morning at
5:00 a.m. . Can't wait to see my DD, DGD and of course DSIL (This is the DLander family.)

Yes, I would say that Rae Ann has a greater need for the Magic Packing Wand! I'll be waiting for its magic powers though, when she's done!

Good Luck Rae Ann packing and picking the relatives up from the airport. Hopefully, they aren't flying in until the evening. Are they flying into Long Beach or do you have to go to LAX? The drive to LAX for us stinks, but the fare prices make it worthwhile most of the time, even when we stay in a hotel the night before.

DD9 wanted a playdate this afternoon instead of going to swim practice. Since she was already super wired from her class party, I let her go. Bonus for me is I had an hour to pack before DD11's swim practice. I actually got one suitcase zipped closed! Now just how many to go ..... ?

Teacher Gifts!!! Darn, I knew I was forgetting something! Guess I'll be shoppin' again tomorrow!

OK, now that I've actually started packing...well, not really - just identifying which clothes I'm taking with me.

At the Scoops meet, I'll be in a black Disney Cruise Line polo shirt with a gold collar. Hopefully, there aren't 239 other folks wearing them, too.

Weather report: cold and drizzly. Looks like jackets/sweatshirts will be required for Saturday. Also a Heads-Up: PV and Mazatlan are expecting showers on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. That might put a damper on Pirate Night...

Last day of work-yippee.
Now I can focus!!
I now have four bags packed for our family of 4. I think our pharmaceutical's will take a bag of their own-suncscreen, aloe vera, Imodium (please, Lord, keep us stomach virus-free!), allergie meds, Bonnie, etc. As a Girl Scout I understand the need to be prepared!! Still trying to figure out a way to squeeze in the tequilla and mixer!! Not so "Scoutish".

I think the door sign is the only thing missing. May have to forego it completely at this rate. Not my strong point anyway. My nails and toes need to be done, yet!!! That is a higher priority.

Just need to double check those bags,then off to San Pedro Saturday at 6 AM!!

I think I will be in black pants, white tee and green scarf. I am 5'-11", so I may be easy to spot.

Well, I have the door sign done, but the packing is woefully behind! Only one bag is really done being packed as of now. Many others are in a state of "somewhat done" aka chaos! DH has informed me that Door to Door Storage will not deliver everything in the guest room to the ship. so everything needs to be in a suitcase - soon!

DD's and I are all going to have toes done this afternoon after school, then to the bookstore for reading material and teacher gifts. Should be a fun afternoon!

I agree toes are of the upmost importance I, too, am in a state of packing frenzy. Many things piled up now I need to weed out. Aah and the door sign I really need to get moving, but it is so much more fun reading all of your posts
