20050618 - June 18, 2005 - Magic to Mexico

The "Live" thread for the Repo is just so much fun! The pictures have been great! I can't imagine being on the Magic for two weeks!

We had a lot of fun at Disneyland today but we forgot something....to pick up passes for our guests! It looks like we'll be heading out to Disneyland again sometime before the cruise. :teeth:

DH & DS were able to ride in the golden car at Autopia. On one of our Buzz rides (we rode it 3 times), the ride momentarily stopped. DH stopped right in front of one of those high scoring blue triangles. He kept firing & got over a million points.

DH has been saying that he wants to wake up early on the 28th to greet the Magic to Los Angeles. I told him that there's quite a few people already going and he seemed bummed and asked if the lookout's going to be crowded. I had to explain to him that people were meeting at Acapulco's, not the lookout overlooking San Pedro. I dunno...I think seeing the Magic sail for the 1st west coast cruise may be a better idea. Who knows what time in the morning the ship will arrive at the port.

I have read that alot of people will be going to see the Magic arrive in San Pedro. It will be something to see, but I will be waiting to see it when we leave for our cruise.

Yeah...sure. "Forgot". Uh-huh. I think you can still buy the passes at the Disney Store, but won't say anything, so you have an excuse to go back. :earsboy:

My sister-in-law was in Orlando last week - she mentioned that there were a couple interesting blurbs about the Magic departure on the news. Yes, she lives a charmed life - Orlando in May, Mexican Riviera on the Magic in June.

Happy Monday, everyone. I have a slim chance of getting any work done with all the traffic on the "Live" repositioning cruise thread.

We got our cruise docs today!

Unfortunately, it looks pretty much like the Carribbean docs - nothing special for the west coast. The pictures for the onboard gifts are a lot more detailed than what you can see on the web site, though.

It feels like we're officially going. Now THAT's the way to start off the week. :cool1:

I didn't get mine yet :guilty:
I wonder how they're sent out? By alpha-order, stateroom location, deck number, catagory, state you're from????

Congrats on the doc dance. Hopefully we'll all be dancing along with you soon.

 How very cool. :cool1:
How were they delivered? UPS,Fedex,US postal? I need to know who to keep watch for. I don't know if I can stand the wait.

You know, I didn't even look....I think they were USPS. I'll double-check tonight to be sure. They were in a box sitting on the front porch last night. I almost missed 'em since I always come in through the garage, but just happened to step outside last night to check on some plants I just planted.

Hope you get yours soon. In retrospect, there's really not all that much to get excited about (Sign Here, Here, Here.....and here. Put these tags on your bags. Tip all these people all this money. You agree to hold harmless, blah, blah, blah). But with the repositioning cruise leaving a few days ago, I think I've got Cruise Fever.

I can't imagine the funk I'll go into when it's over.

 :Pinkbounc  How awesome that you have your doc's!! :Pinkbounc

After I read your last post, I had to go check the front door. We never use ours either! Alas, nothing was there. :sad2:

So who will be next? We sail one month from tomorrow!!!! :dancer:

I have been offline since last Thursday. All but one of my whole family was together for my dad's retirement: 2 parents, 4 kids + 3 spouses (PG SIL is still on pregnancy bedrest, but doing great!), 8 grandkids. It was chaotic and wonderful all at the same time. Now it is back to laundry, reading all the new post (35 pages for the live Repo thread alone! :earseek: ) and getting ready for our cruise!!! :cheer2:

My TA said my docs will be shipped to her. I will have to wait. I wonder who will be next?? :Pinkbounc

The wonderful man in brown :worship: just delivered our Cruise Docs!!!!

 :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :bounce: :jumping1: :dancer: :rockband: :thewave: :jumping3: :jumping2: :boat:

Oh you are so lucky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yahoooooooooooo! Who is next? Wish it was me! :goodvibes

LOL - My UPS guy is playing tricks on me. I heard a truck pull up so I looked out the window & got excited when I saw a brown truck. He pulled into our driveway, backed up & zoomed out of our street. :rotfl:

Oh, Raeann, the pain! We are really getting excited now! :Pinkbounc If we can just make it through the last few weeks of school.

VacationBug: Hang in there, tomorrow is another day!

Yeah, I read that one this morning! Very cool, and makes me even more anxious to go. :cheer2:
