20050618 - June 18, 2005 - Magic to Mexico

No docs yet but we did have a message on our answering machine from Disney Curise Line. Nothing really exciting - they've changed our champagne brunch reservation from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.

So they changed your Brunch Reservation? I had a tough time making all the reservations for the group I am with, and if they change any of mine I will have trouble. :sad2:

:wave2: Which day do you have your brunch reservation for? Wondering if mine will be changed

Hi...They changed my brunch ressie from 11:30 to 10:30 on our cruise. Must be making room for larger groups. At least I know my online ressie went thru! Boy your cruise is getting close! Have a great time!

  :cool1: :cool1: :cheer2: :cheer2:
I just go home and found the package left by the big brown truck. Our Docs have arrived:goodvibes
:jumping1: :dancer: :dancer:  :cool1:

I am so happy for you!!! :Pinkbounc
I hope mine come soon!

I keep reading fantastic reviews on Randi's Horses! I am the most excited about that excursion. I did however read on a board yesterday that the bathrooms have no doors. Just a heads up. I asked Randi too and she confirmed this. Other posters said the bathroom is in the back, and it really isn't a problem. It will be for me though, my Mother in Law and teen daughters will really pitch a fit. I may not mention it, and just act surprised.

Oooorah! I got me docs yesterday! HarrrHarrr! pirate: pirate:

Yesterday the kids and I had off ("Kennywood" School Picnic day for them, a vacation day for me) and by the time we got home (about 3:30-ish) my DS found a package in the front door! Yipeee!

:cool1: :Pinkbounc :cool1:
Now our vacation feels "real", but time is speeding up or something! :hourglass May is now nearly done-- and with our busy schedules these last few weeks -aieeee! :earseek: Time is just flying! Is there some way to slow it down for the cruise?

Dlander, Hollyster, and CruisingCA-- hope you see your special packages soon too!

A funny - found a "green Tinkerbell" debarkation tag when getting ready our luggage! Guess that bag wasn't used since 2002 cruise! :teeth:

Okay, he may not hate me but it sure seems like he's playing tricks on me. Since hearing that some of our fellow cruisers started receiving their cruise documents on Monday, I have been patiently waiting for ours to arrive.

Monday - No sign of cruise documents or a brown truck.

Tuesday - I hear the brown truck driving down the street and it pulls into OUR driveway. Then he starts backing up and zooms away from our house! Nooooooo!!!

Wednesday - At 5:30 pm, I hear the brown truck driving down the street again. Woohoo our docs are here! I look out the window and I see the truck backing up again! Oh no! Maybe he didn't need a signature and just left the package of documents on the porch. Nope. The UPS guy is playing tricks on me again so I decided to write him a letter.

Dear Mr. UPS Man,
I know that you don't realize the anxiety and disappointment you've put me through. I will be sailing on the Disney Magic in exactly 1 month and I'm waiting for my little package from Mickey. Every time you pull up into my driveway, then back up and zoom out of our street I feel like you're just toying with my emotions. One minute I'm excited and happy and the next minute I come crashing down from my Disney high. This has got to stop! I'm turning into Ursula the Sea Witch. Give a poor Disney fanatic a break. Please!!!!!
Sincerely,
Ursula the Sea Witch

I think it always takes longer for me to get my docs when they are shipped to the travel agent. I don't know why, but it seems always the case. I was VERY excited to receive my new Disney Cruiseline Passporter yesterday! It is just a fabulous book! :lovestruc I had the first copy a few years ago and can't wait to get back to it today!!!
I am going to TRY not to pester my TA today. She is just the greatest person, and I don't want to stress her out. I just wanna dance, ya know?

:rotfl2: Ursula, Ursula! :rotfl2:

I hope the UPS guy hears your plea, and we are dancing with you by sunset this evening!

....Yep! That's it!!!! All this planning and wishing and dreaming! It's all distractible to my day! How can I get any work done with this much excitment in my life?!! :flower:

Hang in there Ursula and Hollyster! I am sure your docs are "en route"...and you'll be dancin' soon too! :cool1:

Tink: I have my reservations for Monday (our 2nd day at sea). I figured that the rotation they're least likely to give us is LAP since we have 6 kids so a Monday brunch wouldn't conflict with our character breakfast.

V-Bug: You've started packing already??

LOL

It wouldn't be so bad if he didn't make a 3 point turn right in front of my house everyday!

YES!

Aieeee! I confess!!! I have started packing already! Taking stock of what our "gots and not gots" are and refining the "shopping-yet-to-do" lists.

Formal-wear stuff isn't packed (not yet - they'd be too wrinkly then!) but bathing suits and such other pretty things ( ) can be put in there without worrying about the wrinkles - heck- I got more laughlines on my face! I'm not worried about the underneath parts! :teeth:

Stopped at B&N yesterday and picked up a mystery paperback - don't remember the author's name or the exact title but it's something about "walking the plank - dead" ----- appropo for our pirates doncha think? pirate:

I plan to leave it on-board in the "library" or perhaps the "cove" - whichever looks to be the best place to leave it. With the flight and airport waiting, I'll probably make some good headway with it. :)

I went to Target yesterday and got alot of stuff off my list like imodium, kids tylenol, benedryl, shout wipes, etc. I love all the planning and anticipation. I am a "Christmas Eve" kinda Gal, not a Christmas Day...ya know? :upsidedow

I gottcha! Problem is for that -- what do we do after the trip?
Solution! Plan another!

That's why I think time is spinning by right now! All this planning is nearing the end, and that's a lot of the "fun". It's all about the dreaming and wishing and hoping! And Day-dreaming while I should be doin' other things!

I'm bad! :rotfl:

Hooray for Tink & V-Bug for getting their docs! :cool1:

Heres :wizard: pixie dust for everyone still waiting ... We'll dance with you soon, I hope. :dancer:

Raeann - you need to let the brown truck know that the pirate: 's are not happy! The Cap'n and crew may have to commandeer his vessel if'n he don' deliver yer package soon! Arrgh! pirate:

I'm with you all. The planning is as much fun as the actual event, be it Christmas, vacation, whatever.

I was at Target last Thursday. I was just going in to buy a small package of diapers for our weekend trip, but I ended up looking for cruise basket stuff -- mind you, I was supposed to be home packing for my flight that afternoon :earseek: , but I got distracted .....

We have a houseguest right now, but when he leaves this weekend, the guest room will become "Packing Central" :rotfl2:
