I played bingo for the first time on our last cruise back in May of 2003. I can see how it could get addicitive. But I never came close to winning anything. It seems like the jackpots at the end of the cruise are always at least $5000 to $7000. That would be a great souvenir!

Hi everyone! Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! I've been really busy so I was just checking in and I noticed that my countdown timer and photos were gone. I looked and I don't see any ones photos or signatures. Must be a tech thing.

Anyway...have a great day!

Thanks...it just looked so odd and I couldn't figure out what was different at first then I realized what it was.

Southwest airfare....SALE
Anybody traveling SOON not for may yet ..

We just got one way to florida non stop for $52.00
bucks for our October cruise...

had to cancel and rebook but it was worth it..
round trip is now costing us $52.00 each Since we had a freeride tix for return portion...
with southwest.
and now have a FREE ride tix for one way for each of us. home from CAL.. after our 14 day cruise..

will have to see what it is one way to FLA in May ...

I won the first game of the finals last Sept....and found out I can't handle winning!!

I got 4 corners in 7 numbers, and I was a nervous wreck! I'd just keel over if I "had" to win a longer game.....:hyper:

Fyi, it was $434.....great after a little bit, but I was about to pass out for the first 15 minutes or so...

I would love to get airfares like South West is offering. I was feeling great about getting a Delta fare of $405 for this February. Those are great fare and I hope you all can take advantage of them.

Kelli do I need to pack an O2 bottle with me for this trip:D

Can't hurt, might help!!! :) And I can think of a lot worse ways to go.....:yo-yo:

I won on 4 corners at the local bingo...I won on 4 numbers...1-2-3-4 BINGO! That was after it was taking forever for someone to win in each of the games...it's always so stressful...what if you make a mistake?!?!? I think it can induce OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder) :)

That would be incredible!!! Even I wouldn't be worried about making a mistake that fast........I love to play bingo, but haven't done it our last 2 cruises. Too much other stuff to do.

On my list of "I really wanna this time..." is the galley tour. Our tablemates in Sept loved it and had lots of cool info at dinner that night.

Nighty night everyone! I only worked 8 hours today, and it sure makes the evening go slow.... ;)

You can now book airfare for next May 2005. Fares are pretty reasonable right now.

We booked Chicago to Orlando one-way and Los Angeles to Chicago one-way for a total of $335.00 each with all taxes and security fees included on ATA.

Some friends got Los Angeles to Orlando for $146.00 one way offered on Delta (Song) and United.

Guess I should start looking at those airfares now!!!

Last year on Royal Carribean after 2 weeks the final jackpot was over $16,000. I think it was actually around 17K (how soon I forget). I was only one number away. BUMMER. Actually, the guy who won was a jerk. He complained the whole time he was in there because his DW had dragged him in and he hated bingo. I love bingo. Play on every cruise and have actually won about 5 times from about $78 to $600. Can't wait for our next cruise (Disney 10 day Christmas) to see what the jackpot gets too!

Have a great day everyone.

Linda

Just for fun I checked out the airfares to and from our regional airport for the repositioning cruise (yikes! ) I'm sure we will fly out of a larger airport about two hours away using Southwest. I just hate having to wait so long for Southwest to publish airfares for May. Anyone want to guess when we'll be able to book on Southwest? I'm assuming Southwest will be a pretty popular carrier for people on this cruise because of the ease of booking one way fares.

I started looking this past weekend when they became available. Not sure what I am going to do just yet. They are pretty high. (at least for me LOL) To book 2 one way tickets is about the same amount as booking a multiple destination "round trip".

For the multiple destination, and only one stop on the return $572

or

Each one way is about $278. So not much difference. I keep looking every day just in case a sale pops in.

I am still looking for good airfare for my December WDW trip.

Jet Blue is not available yet, but JFK one way to MCO is $79.00. Long Beach to JFK is $136.00. I am waiting for Jet Blue to open reservations.

My wife and I will be there with bells on. Stateroom5012. We're both Disney nuts. I'm an ex castmember[Disney Store]. Love WDW. We'll spend several days at WDW before the cruise. I'm "psyched". This will be our second cruise on the Magic.

If you have frequent flier(FF) miles, now is the time to book your flights. There are only a few seats available on each flight for FF and they go fast. For 25 thousand FF miles and $10 each, we were able to get two one-way flights on Delta from Washington State(WA) to Orlando and Orange County(CA) to WA in May 2005.

Welcome aboard Bill, Check for the line to Jeff's site for this cruise.

Thanks to Tap and Dap for the reminder on air fare. Just checked and was able to get a Freq Flyer ticket. Man are those had to get these days. Only down side is AR at MCO at midnight. No biggie. Will have to drive a 100 mile to fly out of Idaho Falls, better than a drive to SLC for us.

So who all will be at WDW before the cruise? Maybe a pre cruise meet? We will see.

Welcome Bill3540. I wish we could be at WDW before the cruise but I do think we may do DL for a couple of days after the cruise.

Dalemm & Sott H, that's great advice about the frequent flier miles. Sure wish I had some.:p

Dalemm,

Were you able to do two one-ways (round-trip from different places) for the 25k miles?

I ask that, but now I remember...Delta did away with their non-stops to MCO from Dulles. There is one from DCA but it's a stinker and I hate flying out of National.

I'm going to ride the fare waves for a bit. Once I can get a decent fare from JetBlue I'll book them from LGB, but we're not leaving until June 2 so that isn't available through JetBlue yet.
