I received several PMs from the West/East cruisers regarding my post/response over there, which was sooo nice. I wasn't aware there was something going on over the weekend when I posted there yesterday, so I got the big picture.... I loved the presents they sent us- very creative.... I hope they send more.... I have to learn how to post pics on these boards so I can send Grumbo his souffle! Instructions needed, help please!

I just posted over there & I saw you did too Peter- good! Hopefully the fun banter will continue & hard feelings will go away. I've cruised with quite a few of them & they are great people!

Hey Danica, Jeff wanted to know how you pronounce your name. His best friend is Danisa, but I believe she use to spell it Danica. Just wondering if ya'll had the same, unusual name for the same reason and if it's said the same.
Does that make sense what I just said? I need a blonde smilie

Dan - eh - ka (short "i", hard "c")

There doesn't seem to be any deep reason why she ended up with it. I belive that it came down to Heather, Michelle, or Danica. (And given the number or women in their late 20's/early 30's that are named Heather or Michelle, it was probably a good decision - not to offend anyone with those names )

I've got buying on e-bay down!

I've only listed stuff once. I had some gymnastics leotards to sell. I actually did quite well - my biggest problem was people wanting to pay with a credit card through paypal - I just have a personal acct.
Do you think it's worth it to upgrade to be able to accept cc payments? I have seen some folks who have two seperate paypal accts. - seems like that could be a pain as well.

What do you think?

Cool. My best friend uses Denise usually. The proper croatian pronunciation is "Duh - neats - uh", but she goes with "Duh - niece - uh" when she uses her given name. It is Danica on her birth certificate, but I've never seen her use it in real life with that spelling.

Just found out today that we can swing the DVC points for the cruise! Now we have to wait 'til the 14th (next Monday) to see if the Cruiseline will release any rooms for category 6. We can always try to swap out our cash ressie room for the points... could get tricky, but, we'll know on the 14th!
