Thanks, Sheila. I was thinking of starting one, but did not want to get another going if this group was going to do a "continued". I will try to get one started tonight.

Nice to see ya Angie, Always Welcome!!! :grouphug:
Fire up a new one!
We are not going! :)

HI S

Hi everyone

We might do one of the 7 day cruises out of LA. Probably won't do a repo. I don't think we could get on the ship again without DD Staci again. Plus it would nice to cruise without flying at all. That would be a first.

I just called DH to tell him the 2008 news.

Since there's no way either of the repo dates would work for our teens this time around, my 1st arguement was that both you & Shari and Linda & Robert left DD's home last PC cruise.
:rotfl:
Trying to convince myself about that part as much as anything I think.
;)

No airfare for one of the 7 night trips is tempting for us as well, I have a bit of a hard time getting past the no CC part... but since we did the double dip in Oct, I guess you could say it all evens out - right?

Hmm, we'll see

Looks like you got the full Westbound rundown.
Good Job Ken:thumbsup2

The Eastbound was scheduled for one less port (no Mazatlan) and they ended up visiting Manzanillo instead of Cabo San Lucas because they were trying to dodge some ugly weather.

Peter & Jenn,
Cruisin' with 4 kids eh? Welcome to my world!
Have a great trip!

OK logging off now, no need to make up for several months worth of posts in one day. ;)

I talked to Gary about the possibility of there being another repo cruise. We don't know if we'd do it again. The reason being that the first trip was so perfect. The people, the weather and being a part of all of the "firsts" including the infamous atrium pajama party, LOL. Kate graduates this May and will hopefully get one of those J-O-B things. It's highly unlikely that she'd get the vacation time to join us again.

I'm worried that we'd spend the entire time comparing it to the first cruise. I'm mostly concerned that it would be disappointing in comparison. Anyone else having these thoughts? :confused3

Yes, don't know what to do. Waiting to see the itinerary. I don't know how we could top the first cruise, unless they allowed us to go down the Mickey Slide!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

That's the problem with teenagers. They mess up our vacation time! On the 11 night Wonder in September, Shari and Ken actually talked to Staci through their computer and had video hooked up. Way too technicologically advanced for me. I have no idea how they even did it.

Hi past repo cruisers. DH and I had hoped to do the upcoming May Transatlantic cruise, but had to cancel because he has a "must attend" conference the week before memorial day. :sad2: . Now I am looking at the "rumored" May 08 PC crossing, but he will have the same conference issues. However, would it be possible for him to leave the ship in Acapulco and fly home while I stayed on board with the kids? I don't know if DCL would allow this, but I am trying desperately to figure out how to make this work. Any thoughts or suggestions?

TIA.

I agree hard to beat our cruise it would be. I kinda like the new horizions that have not been sailed.

Regina...I agree...I do not think anything will top our Panama Canal Crossing cruise. I, for one, am very thankful we were able to go on this cruise as the friendships we have made, had changed our lives forever.

:wave2:

We are having those thoughts too! So MANY good memories to compare too. We are looking :sail: to venture into new waters towards the rumored Alaska cruise :cold: and would LOVE to be on the first sail! :yay: That would also give us a chance to catch our breath from MOU$E BEACH :beach:

Maybe we should start an Alaskan Cruise thread now so we can plan ahead??? :lmao: We're game! I have a feeling that one will be sold out in a heartbeat! ::yes::

Let's see... no blinkie flip flop thingies in those waters! Maybe blinkie scarves!!!

Table 12 Mateys??? BRRRR!!! AAARRRRGH!!!

I agree... we were the first!! Nothing can change that perfect trip. And with it being just year after the Med Repo cruise, not sure I could do it two years in a row.

Now if it was 2009, I would do it in a heartbeat! But would look toward the first Alaskan cruise :)

Debbie

Georgie, let us know when you start the Alaskan thread, we will be there too.

Lynn

We would be passing on a repo cruise for the same reasons everyone else mentioned. We would leap at the chance to sail with you all again on an Alaskan cruise.

Hey Scott, maybe you can talk to your buddy Tom and see if Disney would be willing to buy Vancouver Island to make it their west coast private island!

No Probs, I just bet real estate in the Juan de Fucqa area is pretty steep$$$$, but then again chump change for Tom and Crew. I'll fire up the maps and see what I can find, then again the Canadian Dollar vs the US dollar, might be on to something here. Oh Tom , I got an Idea from one of my people........ let's do lunch... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
