Hope everyone had a great weekend. Think we did.

Big event was Lee's niece's wedding. Nicely done.
And get this Debbie (EpcotKilterFan) the Groom and his menfolk were dressed in Kilts.
And no Scott, they did not serve Haggis at the reception. Was a "Polish Buffet". Sausage, chicken, potatoes and noodles. Quite good.
Cake was great too. None of that foo foo modern cake. This was a real cake with real icing (butter and sugar).

OK, how come nobody told me Pirates 2 was so scary???? HUH??? I just spent the whole evening in a ball on Eric's lap!!!!!! Forgtunately, I really liked it too..... Finally, my back is good enough that I got to go see it and spend the evening at DTD, so I guess I got my Halloween scare... Sheesh!!! I loved the fight scene on the wheel though, they should put one up in the kids play area at CC for a climbing gym!

Happy belated anniversary Peter & Jenn!

I had a great weekend. We got a sitter Saturday night after Emma went to bed and had a nice dinner out at my favorite local Italian restaurant. On Sunday after breakfast we drove up the coast to a neat little place that's an old ship converted into an aquarium with a sea lion show. It was one of our favorite places to go when we met but haven't been back in a few years. We did that and some last-minute shopping for our upcoming trip.

The worst part about having an early November birthday is coming home to find 10 messages on your answering machine and 7 of them being recordings urging you which way to vote!

In all we had a nice time and I got some good stuff. The funnest part was seeing Emma try birthday cake for the first time. She really didn't want to eat her squash after that. I can't say I blame her!

I have to update my miles on here too but I still need 87.7 miles with only 10 days to go. I'm somewhere on I-75 in Florida.
