Hi Everybody,

Here it is, the big announcement! We're about to become grandparents, courtesy of our son Ben and his lovely wife, Sicily!!!! The little green shirt they are holding in this picture is their announcement to us. It has a little card in the pocket that has the due date on it, and the design on the pocket is surfboards, Ben's favorite occupation when he's here. We're thrilled, and can hardly believe it, even after planning for it for years. I can't wait to go Disney shopping with Sicili for baby stuff!!!!

When I got home from the cruise on Sunday, about 2 hours later, I had my 1/2 sister from Ohio pull up in the drive way in a Winnebago with 10 of them on the way to Miami for a cruise - and they stayed overnight with me.

We had a BBQ in the back yard and we swam until after midnight and they slept all over the house. The kids wanted to sleep in the house instead of running the generator in the driveway and keep my neighbors awake all night.

All of this was not even known by me until they knocked on the door.

But it was OK - I hadn't seen her children for a while and it was fun.

Just what I needed - I am just now beginning to feel a little better from the cruise and not even unpacked yet -

I swear, I should write a book so I can take more cruises !!!!!

our son Gary has just got his BA degree in physics from Cambridge University.
Next year he is doing a Masters Degree.

less than 3 weeks and we will be at wdw -OKW for over a week.

after that we fly on to Las Vegas (MGM grand).
Gary now being over 21 wants to try his luck on the tables.

Do enjoy your time at OKW, and remind Gary that for every action there is a like and equal reaction. i.e. For every dollar he bets at the table, the casion makes a dollar. LOL

Very profound, Scott, but Keith likes to say "They aren't building those huge casinos on the house losing!!!"

That being said, someone is winning, and a recent Physics Grad from Cambridge would be a great photo op!!!! Good luck!!!

Be sure to hit the M&M's store!!! It's very close to MGM!!! And the Sticky Toffee Pudding at the America Restaurant in New York New York is to die for!!! As is the egg white fritatta....

And as for Bob Evans, Elaine will tell you the company is half the experience at a certain one in Florida!!!

Since I got back from my cruise on the Magic from 6/10-17, I have been meaning to report that we had a get together with the following people:

Harry and I

Diana and Tom (tap and dap)

Linda (seaulater)

Renae and Eric (auntrenae)

Bill (3Dan) we had to wake him up and tell him to put on his pants !!!!!!

Everyone came to our room at the Villas of Wilderness Lodge and we sat and talked for about 6 hours or more.

Then Linda and Harry and I went over to Epcot to see Illuminations. What a great show that is. We parked at Boardwalk and walked over through the Intnernational Gateway. Beforehand we ate at the Fish and Chips place. YUMMY

We all had a great time and had some great discussions

I think that Linda went to Renae and Eric's for waffles on Sunday, but we had to be home by 1 pm so that Harry could go to the coin show in Ft. Lauderdale - someone was holding some coins for him and he didn't want them to be sold, if he didn't pick them up. We made it....

RENAE gave me a rain check for them and I'm a 'gonna take her up on that

Kay... We were ALMOST there. So glad to hear everyone had fun at your mini-meet. We were pool hopping at the GF that afternoon. What a GREAT pool. Brandon loved the slide. Anyway, I called Renae to check in and let her know we made it to the world. Her son answered and said they were meeting with other Panama Canal folks

Hi Everyone! It's been a busy month for us with Mom's continued recovery from the spider bite. She's off the IV and the orla antibiotics. It's been a long 7 weeks. I'm happy to report she's getting her strength back now.

Going to WDW with Brandon was wonderfully HECTIC, and jammed full of great memories!!! Expedition Everest was amazing. I am NOT a coaster person, and had no trouble on this ride. The drop on Splash Mountain is more intense. I will confess, going backwards was a bit un-nerving though. But as soon as the initial sensation passed, the rest wasn't bad. MK had extra hours 'til 3 AM and 2 AM We didn't make it that long, but came close.

We missed POC being open, and aren't really looking forward to seeing the changes, but time moves forward.

An upcoming Disney event for us will be a Special Pirates of the Carribean Party in NYC at the Disney Store on 5th Avenue. They are closing the store, and turning it into a POC celebration complete with dinner and a 12:01 showing of the new movie. (I'm glad we had some practice with late Pirate movies on the Magic!) Jason Surrell will also be there signing his book. It will be fun to see him again. Crash Mc Crevy will also be there. He is the creature creator from POC 1 + 2.
