So how is/was South Bend....I can give you exact directions to a Denny's, or a Wendy's, and point out the local Bob Evans....funny I'd never heard of BE until Elaine talked about them......thought they were a southern thing....

Just sent the last of the family home from Etta's after a nice family reunion...the dogs were glad to see the house get back to its normal quiet....they'll sleep well tonight...

Only person missing was Keith's sis that fell last Sun morning, 12 hours after we got here, and broke her shoulder...immobilized with good drugs....I've been trying to work in "superspinadus" but she doesn't stay lucid long enough...

Oh yeah, my impression of Kay's explanation was that by us turning around and around, the anchor chain got untwisted from the gears.....don't make me get more techie on you~~you won't like it!!!!

Well, I have my own exciting news!!! (No, Elaine!!!!!) We are still at Etta's, and we're getting dinner ready, and she says, hey, I've been meaning to ask you, what IS this stuff?!?!?! And she reaches into her frig and pulls out.......
MY FLUBBER!!!!!

I thought it had gotten left in the frig in our hotel room in California!! Evidently, it came all the way home with her insulin!!!! Woo hoo....

OK so isn't exactly on the same par as a grandchild, but we all gotta take our thrills where we can get them!!!!
