Anyone watching Survivor!!!! The reward challenge was to have dinner on a 100 foot yacht in the Panama Canal!

How cool to be on the bow of a yacht and be in the Miraflores locks! All I could say is "I've been there"

Mom and I both said...we were there!!!!!!

That would have been so cool to have had a front row seat on that yacht and to see the lock doors open.....just think....we were going through the Miraflores locks.....357 days ago.......

But here is one from the beginning

I just realized that 365 days ago I was in WDW..

But I will be back there on Saturday!!!

These first two are of a cute outfit that was a present from Mary Jo on the Magic who gave it to Auntie Elaine to give to Emma. There was also a nice certificate to go along with it which Elaine sent us a nice DCL frame to put it in. Elaine told Mary Jo about our story and was surprised to find these goodies in her stateroom shortly after. Talk about Magic!!!!

You probably can't read the text but the certificate says:

Emma looks so cute in the DCL onesie....I hope Mary Jo and the gang are still reading our thread so they can see it....

Yes...we were very surprised to find the certificate and onesie in our stateroom. I had spoken to Mary Jo and told her about baby Emma and her being concieved on the cruise....I asked her for some suggestions as to something special Mom and I could get for "The Martin's" to remember "The Magic"....she said to leave it with her...she called our stateroom the next day to ask for Emma's full name, which I provided and that night....the certificate and onsie were in our stateroom. Mary Jo is the best!!!! afterall she is a fellow Canadian!!!!!!

Debbie...that's horrible that you lost your pictures from the Miraflores Locks...if you'd like I could send you a CD of my pictures...but there all "stern" shots as we were on Kelli's B.A.V. Let me know.

That must be awesome! Do you have pictures you could post or send me? I saw one once, in the aquarium at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas, and we were lucky to see her, because they were about to release her back into the sea because she was getting too big at 12 feet... She was so graceful!

Well, we have our lists, our suitcases out, and (I think) everything bought that needs to be bought... we have our docs and bought some great hot chocolate in Salt Lake (they don't have our favorite brand here, Stevens Mint Truffle...lol) Did you know that Holland America serves tea, coffee and split pea soup on deck, but not hot cocoa? Now that's just wrong! Oh well, we bought plenty! I think we're about ready...

Hey, does anybody have any advice for avoiding jet lag? I've never had it, but have never gone more than 3 hours difference in time before either... I read an article in Travel and Leisure that said it's good to adjust your schedule by a couple of hours before going so you don't have such an effect when you get there. Anyone tried that?

When we were in Salt Lake last week our son accused me of being baby hungry.... and I didn't say a word, I promise!!! LOL, I think they are a little sensitive... Chelsea's mom says she bugs them all the time, and I don't, at least not out loud... I can say this here because you won't tell on me... I want grandbabies so bad it hurts!!! Ah well, all in good time... lol. Patience is a grandmotherly virtue, right? ARGH!
