Okay....so I called DCL this morning and I changed our reservation so we are now cruising on the December 2 - 9, 2006 Western Caribbean cruise preceded by a few days at WDW. I was even able to get our same stateroom.

So Kay I guess we'll be seeing you and Harry and Celeste, Robb, and Noah
onboard. Anyone else???????

Kay I sent Kelli an email too....but I just found out the email server for my internet provider is down so no messages are coming in or going out so I'm not sure if she has received my "plea" or not!!!!!!!

I just got home after working 10 1/2 hours on light duty.... and I did get the "plea" Elaine!! Keith had dinner ready so the 'net had to wait a bit...barbequed pork, au gratin potatoes and leftover deviled eggs....hey, protein is a good thing!!

That week is always available after picking vacations, so I don't see any trouble with going then...but I'll have to let Keith think he picked it!!!

Just have to figure out when we have graduation trips planned....Jesse has decided on NYC and it looks like somewhere between 01-01-06 and 01-15-06 during her semester break of college, Josh still hasn't sat down with us to make any decisions, but he's not ruled out going to Canada.....(Elaine, I'm not sure if you're familiar with that area?!?!?!?)

Maybe in 2006 I could take most of December off instead of May!!! My coworkers aren't over it yet!!!! And one of my "backups" took the entire month of July off...its been crazy!!!

Hi Liz
I'm doing pretty well. I think the butt is as good as it's going to get for a while. Still can't run/jog but I'm walking without the walker or crutches and not limping that badly. It's a looooong process and I'm impatient. I will still do my laps around World Showcase for the Food & Wine though... and this year we are going to the Party for the Senses.. which will be like being back on the cruise.... all you can eat and drink....Just what I need.
Miss all you guys too! Sure wish I had another cruise booked... no other thread to go to and get all excited about planning.... so I'll have to live vicariously thru you all for a while!!
We'll be up at the Mouse House Aug 10-18 if anyone is going to be around???

Hello everyone!
I have been off the boards for a few days and wanted to say hello.

It is exciting to see people joining the 12/2/06 cruise!!! I know there were a few other people who had booked the same date- while on the ship in May. I just can't remember who everyone is??? I believe there is already a thread going, but I'm not ready to move over yet.


Work has been good, I think I will like it at Rush. The only thing that makes me sad is that I will only see people who are canidates for brain surgery- I will miss see all of the general medical stuff. Yes I know how strange that sounds, it would sound even stranger if I was to tell you that I will miss seeing sepsis and multisystem organ failure. I'm such a geek!


I was glad to read that Leslie and Georgie are on the mend...no more broken butts or toes.
Too funny.


I would also like to say the officially I am jealous that Renae went to CKU!

I'll give you a call when we are up there. I'll bring what I have done so far. I'm not sure of what our schedule will be yet, as we have to reschedule the dog training classes that we missed right after the cruise. The pups are in dire need of a refresher and it would help if we knew the commands!!!
Maybe one day while Joe is painting we can go to that scrapbook store.
