Wow wouldn't that be fun! DH + I have never been to London! Right now though that would only be a wonderful dream!

Hey Georgie...
After living on the eastcoast, I have some recommendations- for flying to London.

Until this year, I have gone to London every March- as my parents used to live there. I was ALWAYS able to find airfare for less than $400.00 RT in March out of Boston, and the deals out of NY were always atleast $100.00 less. If possible, I would recommend flying either Virgin, British Airways, or American- as these carriers have the most leg room and best service...with the British carriers being better than American. (I always flew by myself with Noah...overnight)

March is a great time to go...as it is already spring there and much warmer than Boston ever was around this time frame. Also....no crowds and you are still able to get good prices on hotel and airfare.

Good Luck....just remember that "english" isn't "english" there- sometimes I would stare blankly at people trying to figure out what they were asking me....and it wasn't the usual "lift" versus "elevator" stuff (I know those translations)- they use different slang and that got me confused.

Go see the sites- it's worth it. (You could also take the chunnel to France and see EuroDisney.)

Thanks Celeste! Hey... March '06 will be 10 years for us. You never know! Thanks for all the flying tips! Maybe we will take a stab at stretching our comfort zone! The only place we've been going has been DCL, WDW or DL :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Spoken as a TRUE Disney Addict or what! :rotfl:

WHenever you want to come to London the invitations there.

In July 2003 we were on a cruise with Jeanneg, and today on another thread I found out that she knows you and Jenn, its a small world.Your fame is spread far and wide on the Boards

Ashley

She is on your next Cruise .. I do believe...

Hi everybody,

This morning Kay and Harry came up to Orlando and we went to MOUSE SURPLUS!!!

I found frames there for 2 of my pics from the cruise, matching mats, and a 5' tall tropical plant, all for less than $10... I'm happy... The people there said they have the good stuff that used to go to property control and they'll have the stuff from the Polynesian remodel starting on the 5th of July. I really want one of their entertainment centers, so we'll have to dig into the savings and see what we can do. I didn't buy one last time I had a chance, so I'm going to try this time.

They had some pretty cool stuff, arcade games, some ride vehicles, mirrors from somewhere rustic, and lots of dishes and misc. stuff... There was a room with a lot of collectibles in the front, and some of the big stuff was across the street, so if you go, make sure you get to go over there. It was really fun!

My photos just got here!!!! I'm so excited... now I can start scrapping! I'm going to go look at them, so if you don't hear from me for a while, that's why.

Leslie,

We weren't planning on taking malaria pills for our trip to Costa Rica...what did your MD say? Thankfully we are current on Hep A and Tetanus. I always hate the sore arm from a tetanus shot! :guilty:

The malaria pills are required/encouraged because the first night we are staying in a treehouse in the rainforest. The deeper that you go into the jungle, the more likely you need the malaria pills.

Thanks for the advice about the weird dreams Celeste.

We met up with Tony (aphoenix) in London last night. It was great to see him ,and to think about The Repo Cruise and DL again.

Ashley and Karen

It was fabulous to see both of you again. And I really appreciated your willingness to show me more of the countryside - it was so nice to get away from the city for a bit. And to get a good meal!

It looks like this is going be the summer of Tony's World Tour. Next up - Albany NY and Houston, with Providence RI and Morristown NJ up later in July.

I received one of my Castaway Cay Islandgrams today:

Kay,

How did you get such a wonderful thing? That is so cool! Could you possibly copy the directions for the towel swan for me? I forgot to get them onboard, and would love to make them for company...

Renae

Okay Kay....I'm jealous! :confused3
I want more DCL mail!

How are you and Harry doing? Did your lungs ever clear up? :guilty:

Help!

I can't find the link to Tony's mouse planet gallery! Can anyone post it for me, please? I'm looking for some photos there to add to mine...

thanks,
Renae

OK - here it is:

Lay a towel flat and roll the bottom left corner diagnoally toward the top right corner.

Stop rolling when you get to center of the center of the left hand side

Do the same thing with the top left corner.

Stop rolling when it meets the bottom roll.

The roll should now form a sideways "V" shape.

Bring the two rolls together until they meet

Carefully turn over (The towel, not yourself LOL.)

Fold back the narrow end and make into an "S" shape to form the head and neck.

Accordion - fold a wah cloth and add to back of swan

Voila! You've got yourself a towel swan

Kay,

Thanks, I can't wait for the next time we have company! I still have my mints from our pillows too... My kids are so lucky!

Almost the whole way home, it stormed so bad. Harry drove all the way. I took your advice. :rotfl:

Took us a little longer, of course, this time.

Had a great time with you. We must do it often. I'll call you when I come up in two week before we leave for the ship/cruise on Thursday. Maybe my phone will work.......
