I'm looking for suggestions for displaying the hubcap pin:

I should have looked at the display earlier, but... just got around to doing it over the weekend, and found to m dismay that the slide in is from the bottom, which makes hanging it up impossible! :guilty:

Any thoughts... I really want to put it up on the wall. Would some modeling clay do the trick... museum putty... Has anyone else put theirs on the wall?

Appreciate any thoughts... I've got to get things off the tables :rotfl2:

Georgie: I'm not planning on taking my hubcap out of the display so I'm going to use a couple beads of hot glue to keep the cover in place. Hopefully that will work. modeling clay or fun tac would probably work too.
You would think they could have thought of that when designing the box!!!

Scott... sounds like a trip to Wal-Mart tonight. Sorcerer cheese is a must have....:rotfl:

MMM... I wonder if Sorcerer cheese could get me a trip to WALMART!!! Sure is tempting!

I can see Joe's face now :rotfl: You want to go to Walmart for cheese?

Yes sweetie, but it's Mickey cheese  :rotfl:

I am kinda curious now!

Hey Scott... just how many stocks in Walmart did you buy??? :rotfl: (just kidding!)

THANKS for the suggestions about hanging the Hub Cap Pin! Now I must figure out how to attach a hook to the back! Gee Wiz! I had expected all I had to do was bang a nail in the wall to get this thing up! (yes, I know... at least I have one to hang up! ;)

TOO LATE.....but it's okay because cheese is one of the things that can't be shipped over the border.....  ...maybe I'll have to go and visit Leslie in Florida :moped: ...right after I take a side trip to Sun Prairie Wisconsin!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I just booked my air for 115.00 RT from Chicago to Orlando. It is on Southwest, and I will have to fly out of Midway- but for 115.00 I won't complain.

We are coming down from 10/14 to 10/22- Robb will only be there until the 16th. My parents and my yonger brother (and family) will also be there the sametime. I don't think we will be on property- as my father is getting us each our own condo- it's hard to turn down free.

Renae- we'll have to get together....Robb and I would love to see you and Eric.

NOW- I just have to hope this works out with school and work....those darn things keep on getting in the way! :rotfl:

Now I have to watch for keep tickets for the marathon dates....

WOW!!! We've never been able to get tickets that low from NJ! What a GREAT price! Lucky YOU!!! :Pinkbounc

Georgie,

You can buy hooks (at Walmart, lol) that have an adhesive tab on the back for attaching to things that don't have holes, then they can go on the 'nail' in the wall. They're with all the other hooks and stuff in the hardware dept.

Renae

Celeste,

Can't wait to see you!!!! Will you have time to scrap? Or maybe you can bring finished pages? Whatever we do, it'll be fun.

Renae

What's taking you guys so long to put your scrapbooks together? It's easy:

-one box
-throw in papers
-throw in pictures
-shake well
-tape shut
-lable box
-place in top of closet (never to be seen again)

I have finally caught up with all the posts since the cruise. I cannot believe that it has already been a month since we left FL.

I am not sure my bank account is going to ever recover. Besides the cruise we bought in DVC. Then on our drive up to San Jose, Andy bought a new car (Yellow Scion - we call it the short bus :rotfl: ). I am dreading our credit card statement !!! :goodvibes

I am still working on our pictures but it is great to see what others have posted (jenn - I am glad the camera worked out for you.) One thought that I do have about scrapbooking. It might be fun if we pick some themes and scrapbook together. Let's say we pick Cabo. We can sent a time and then everyone can work on their Cabo pictures. This is good for people who don't know where to begin. I find picking one thing to start makes beginning easier.

Upcoming trips - Since we are now part of the DVC family we are of course ready to start planning our next trip. I don't think I can committ to training for the marathon, but I could be the official groupie. If we are going to try and plan something, I would be more than happy to help.

Lastly, I do want to thank everyone who helped made the trip even better than it might have been. I especially want to thank Peter and Jen who looked out for me on the ATV tour!!

Thanks,
Charlene

ps - Celeste - did Andy pm you to say that we will be in Chicago in Sept??

Hi Char,
Yes- Andy did tell me that you were coming....we would love to see you. Andy had asked what the weather would be like....cool probably high 60s. You'll have to PM me and tell me what part of Chicago you will be.

So you might come and cheer on us crazy runners! That would be fun!

You're in luck... Wisconsin is the cheese capital of the world. They probably have cheese in every shape known to man......you can kill two birds with one stone.... :rotfl2: Not that I wouldn't LOVE to have you come visit me! Why can't you ship cheese to Canada? What do they have against cheese? ;)

So that must mean that every closet in your house is filled with boxes of cruise stuff!! At least it's organized. All my cruise stuff is spread thruout 15 rooms in 2 houses. I'll never get it all together!

I am still only up to Monday 5/16. There was just too much going on!!!

Hi all,
I know this is a little late but I want to say THANK YOU!!!! THANK YOU!!!! THANK YOU!!!! to everyone on this thread for making our vacation even more special and memorable. Thank you for all the planning, gifts and get togethers! :grouphug: This was definitely the BEST vacation we ever had!!

I have posted "some" of our pictures on imagestation. Well, I've tried everything and I can't post the link because I don't have enough posts. You can find them on the imagestation website under the public albums - it's listed under vacation/travel - central america - panama and called Disney Westbound Panama Canal Cruise. If anyone can help me post the link please PM. I guess I better stop lurking and start posting!

Since I found this board late and was not able to give gifts .... If anyone would like a copy of our Panama Canal DVD (warning - I am not a pro at videotaping) and/or a DVD with all of our 1200+ pictures just send me a PM with you name and address.

P.S. Is anyone else daydreaming about how they can get enough $$ and time off to go on the Eastbound! :cloud9: I know I am!!!

Hey Leslie...I stand corrected....yes...I'm admitting I was wrong....I just checked and you CAN bring up to 20kg of cheese into Canada now, as long as it is not packed in whey!!!!!

Wisconsin...here I come...... :rotfl2:

Leslie, Lynn is on October of 2003....the boxes fell out of the closets.

Yes would love to do the eastbound, time is the problem.....
