Ya know, we have a photo gallery here on the DIS, and if I ever figure out how to post a picture, I might just use it. :teeth:

Has anyone ever booked two one week cruises back to back? I know they make you get off for a while- but do you have to pack your stuff if you are going to be in the same room?

Robb and I usually go down in December....maybe we will go- we haven't missed a not-so-scary or very merry in three years.

We are going around mid-October....I'm just waiting to start the new job before I pick the dates.

Maybe we will see some of you all then?

We will be there for the race- I better start training!

Jeff and I will be there that weekend. We'll also have a room at a DVC resort so we can also host some festivities!

Funny you should ask this question. This is the question I was calling to ask DCL when I ended up booking our cruise. I was told that everything depends on who is on the ship. If you are lucky enough to get the same room, you may or may not have to pack up your stuff. My understanding is that the rooms get a more thorough cleaning on Saturdays so your stateroom host may let you leave your room the way it was or they may request you pack everything up. Now I was told you do get to "wander" the ship but areas will be off limits. I was told that you do have to go back into the terminal to re-check in but I have read on the boards that some people were able to check in at Guest Services.

Hope this helps.

OK Guys I am going nuts trying to remember the name of a song. The song was played over the PA system on 5/28 as we arrived in LA. It was the first song played. Anyone recall what it was. I know the melody but can put a name to the song.

Hey Elaine,
What dates did you rebook that are back to back?
Thanks for the information!

Hello All,
Today is a great day! I got my grades in from the class that I did over the cruise (and the paper I finished last week)- I got perfect marks!

:cheer2: :cheer2:   :cheer2: :cheer2:

Also...Noah lost his first tooth last night....with a little help from dental floss and ambisol. Laurie will laugh over this- because she witnessed me attempting to wrench it from his mouth over dinner one night on the cruise. :rolleyes1 The tooth was hanging on by one thread of skin...and Noah has no pain tolerance- so we numbed it and it came out in one second AND HE WAS THRILLED! He requested that the tooth fairy bring him- 6 quarters, 10 dimes, 4 nickels, and 1 penny and she did! :earboy2:

I have FINALLY finished unpacking- now let the cleaning begin!

Hope you all have a great day!

How great!! I love that request for a specific amount of coin. :wizard: What a great tooth fairy! How did she manage to stash all that cold, hard cash under your pillow???

Celeste...congratulations on your perfect score!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Celeste,

Congrats! That's teriffic about your marks and about Noah's tooth!!!! That tooth fairy had better start saving up, once my boys got the idea that she had some cash, they started losing teeth left and right...

Renae

Scott,

Was it one of the Brother Bear songs?

I know they played "On My Way" as we passed under the bridge of the Americas.

Thanks Laurie, It was not “On My Way”, it was kinda like a Pomp and Circumstance type of song.

Hi all...Got my photos done...Renae, Scott, big black dog...Bette, Kim, and a host of others whose names I will, sorrowfully forget unless reminded...If you're in a photo, leave a comment...Ok?.....please...And who is that guy dancing in the folkloric show in Curacao? And what body of land is that visible out the porthole?.....Cuba? :flower:
Hyatt MCO to DL....
