I was thinking the same thing Elaine... they are all bundled up like Nanook of the North... Oh wait.. maybe it was 70º or something.....LOL That's when we dig out the woolies....

Peter... Can't wait to see Holiday Wishes... Hallowishes was awesome so I'm expecting the Holiday Wishes will be just as great! Wish we could have made it up there to see everyone.... unfortunately the off time during Wilma forced Joe to make up classes
Hopefully we'll get up there before the end of the year and be able to see all the shows and decorations.
Now... back to my Christmas Cards........

Hallowishes....that brings back memories....

I MISS WDW

oh and Leslie too!!!!

Does Jimmy Buffet have a tropical Christmas CD?

Yes, it's called Christmas Island. It's really good. We just dug it out and listened it to it last weekend for the first time this year. It has his own takes on classics like Jingle Bells, I'll Be Home For Christmas, Up on the Housetop, Happy Xmas (War Is Over), and Mele Kalikimaka. He also does some other fun songs including a few he wrote including my favorite: Ho Ho Ho and a Bottle of Rhum!

Steve beat me to the Buffett Answer, Also Eric Stone hass a new Christmas Album, called Great White Christmas.

Last day at WDW, gotta run and do it all again for the last time on this trip. LOL

Another book idea I have is a book about reincarnation where the people with good Karma return to WDW as a duck, get fed and see Illuminations every night, and visit other family members at Old Key west where they eat bread fed to them by guests.

Leslie,

It was only about 73 here yesterday... and cold weather is coming today, so you need to come up here and cool off! The 'cold' weather will be in the 60's for highs and the low 50's for lows, so I'm excited!!! It's almost cool enough for sweaters, YAY!!!...lol...

Elaine,
Come on down!!!!!
Renae

Leslie,

I almost forgot, the sound of the Christmas Wishes show is really loud, and goes on for a long time... We haven't been over there yet, but it's a nice show from here! I bet it would be even louder at the MouseHouse!!!

Well I made it back home. It was quite the adventure  getting home. We left rainy Orlando and got on the Florida Turnpike to go to the airport to get stuck in one of the biggest traffic jams I have ever seen!!! It took over 2 hours to get to the airport! There was a horrible accident and not sure if anyone was hurt, I would be surprised if they were not :(

Then when we finally got to the airport, we boarded the plane, sat down, then had to deplane because there was a tear in the front tire. So over and hour and 15 minutes late we finally take off. Did not pull into my driveway until 1:30 am. And that was after clearing off 3 inches of snow and 2 inches of ice off the car :cold: :cold:

Had a wonderful time this trip. It was great to see alot of friends. :grouphug:

Here are some pictures from the MVMCP meet on December 4

...and the people with bad Karma get sent to Six Flags as squirrels. There they live the rest of their lives baking on the hot asphalt with no shade, living off of cardboard-flavored pizza scraps and listening to the shrill laughter of line jumping teens day after day.

Thanks Deb for posting the KEWL pictures.

Really dreading going home, but we do want to see the pups.

At MCO right now and the plane we are to leave on in 40 min is not at the gate. Might get stuck here. If we can't make out connection in MSP.

And then they're cooked up and served as the special at Citricos.

Debbie,

Great photos!

I'm sorry to hear you got caught in that jam, but glad you got home ok even if a bit late!!!

I have just made it thru all the posts from while we were gone, unlike Scott, I did not get a chance to read them on the road. I am always busy writing my trip journal while he is on the computer.

Again, thanks to all for the birthday wishes!

We made it home after only a few delays, the plane in twin cities was also delayed, so we made the connection with time to spare. We had about a foot of snow in our driveway, but the jeep made it up fine.

No pipes froze while we were gone, the dogs should be delivered any time now. Have almost finished unpacking. Scott had to go to work today, I do not have to go in until tomorrow night.

We had a great trip, really enjoyed seeing folks again and all the Christmas decorations

Lynn

Happy Holidays everyone!

Sorry for not keeping in touch, we have been through some rough times around here. As I posted back in October, we were going through an adoption and shortly after my posting it was abruptly halted as Jasmine's aunt decided to adopt her instead. While we are very saddened by this (as well as, devasted, confused and exhausted), we also want what is best for Jasmine. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, as we have.

On the first of December, we moved into our new home in Napa. Michael has been remodeling it (of course!) and I've been trying to decorate amongest the painters, carpenters and Quincy! I decided to keep her out of pre-school until after the first of the year. Needless to say, she has been having fun! I just want to have her room completed so we can get her mattress off the family room floor, before her big brother and sister come home from college!

Our dog, Nikko, has been exploring in the woods and has been kind enough to bring home some ticks! Oh, my favorite...reminds me of my childhood! Quincy keeps wanting to see them after I pick them off! Too funny!

I hope all of you have a safe, happy and joyful Christmas! Big hugs to you all! :grouphug:
