I hate to do this.

Please think about not posting anyone's home address to a public board. Send it as a PM or through email.

Yes, she did. She also posted it on this thread, possibly the same day. Sorry I don't have the post number.

Otherwise I would never have posted it.

She should think about not posting it. I'm not just being paranoid.
True, I would not post mine. Or would I give out some one elses. In this case, the person who posted it was just REposting.

In that case, here a couple links to our snowmobilie trips up there....I have to go visit Scott's backyard every once in a while.

I think this will work, haven't tried to send them this way before. Just a word of caution though: 2003 has a "graphic" pic.....

When you get to where the pics of the races, (orange temp fence) those are about a half-mile/mile from Scott's house. Isn't that pretty accurate, Scott?

Kelli, loved the spring photos .......LOL Yes we live just about .5 miles to the north of that location.

Today the valley was filled with smoke from all the fires west and south of here.

How is the knee???

It's pretty swollen today...Keith keeps saying, "Scott did both knees at the same time? Wow!" My puppy keeps leaving her toys for me, in all the WRONG places....and my crutches aren't helping much....I'm not bad at them, but I can't wait to get rid of them!!

Was I right about the distance from your place to Melody Ranch? Can't say as I've ever looked at an odometer to know!!

Where south? We've got assets in Star Valley...and friends in Alpine.

The fires a lot further out west, CA, AZ etc, none here in WY.

Did you doc tell you to keep your knee elivated?

Oh, THOSE fires...gotcha! He didn't really mention that...but I know I should be, probably more than I am. He mostly talked about ice, but when I'm at the computer, I'm quite the lounger anyway....and Keith is doing a good job keeping me fed, so I'm not up and down the stairs so much...

Btw, I did get to see a lot of the pics on Tony's site. I just switched computers!! Weird, but the laptop works just fine. We've gone over all the internet options and don't see anything that could be causing the trouble.

Scott,

You scared me for a minute there... I thought you meant there were fires where you are. How are you getting smoke clear up there, is it like a 'canyon wind' situation where the smoke comes through the mountain valleys to you? We used to get that stuff in Salt Lake when WY was having fires.

gotta get back to my crop with Elaine... long distance cropping is fun!

Renae

We get this situation quite often when there are fires to the west of us. Jackson Hole is a valley and the smoke combined with high pressure will just hang here in the valley. I remember when St Helen’s blew we had a good bit of ash here.

Hi Kelli :wave2:

Glad you were able to get into Tony's site. Hope the knees doing better.

I was at the scrapbook (again) today and now I have to come and visit you...I found Wyoming sitckers!!!!!! I bought them and hope that I'll get to be able to use them someday soon :rolleyes1

Elaine

P.S. Having fun tonight "cropping" and "scrappin'" over the internet with Renae!!!!

Hello Everyone!
Well I decided to ditch the walker and crutches and lurch around on my own. It still hurts like heck but I couldn't take those things another minute.
Georgie glad your toe is on the mend and
Kelli... if you want the walker I'll send it to you! :rotfl:Glad to hear that Keith is taking good care of you.

I had my first experience in a scrapbooking store today. They had a whole big Castle display with tons of Disney scrapbooking stuff. Joe tried to confiscate my credit card as soon as he saw it...but TOO LATE.......Oh boy... I was in sensory overload in that place! Spent quite a few $$ but got such neat stuff. I am addicted now.. and although Joe says it will be less expensive than my pin addiction.... I don't know.. there's so much neat STUFF! I'm so excited I got 2 different sizes of those Mickey head punch thingies!! They have the SDU classes there too... but I don't know... there was one going on in the back while I was there and it was already WAY over my level!! They told me about some sort of cropping convention near here in July but even the brochure was baffling to me!

Scott: Our son got us an XM satellite radio for the car as an anniversary present...still trying to figure it out....:rotfl2: Wish you were here to give a class in that!!
I am having a great time going thru all the photos on Tony's site. Will try to get ours up there sometime this week. What a project that will be!

Scott,

I lived in Portland when St. Helen's blew. We had black ash. My parents in Yakima WA got very light tan ash. What color did you get?

Have you ever read any books by Robert Marcum? He's an author who writes like Tom Clancy, but no 'yucky stuff'. You can find him in the library. He sets a lot of his books in Jackson Hole, and they're very good! You almost feel like you're there, especially when he writes about being caught in a blizzard in a box canyon while being hunted by a hit man... Cool!

Yes, Renae was keeping us posted.....now, we just need video!!!:rotfl2:

What sites are on the Wyoming stickers? Good news and bad news, I'm guessing--

Devil's Tower--275 miles north
The Tetons--433 miles northwest
Yellowstone--483 miles northwest
Antelope--good news, these are just outside my back door!
And if they have the state capital, I can hook you up there also!!

What else could they have? The outline of South Dakota, Colorado and Idaho?!?!?!?:rotfl: :rotfl:

Kick ash?

Leslie,

There you are! I was wondering what happened to you... now that I know you were in a scrapbook store, I totally understand! LOL, you're hooked now... The cropping convention you heard about is probably the one I'm going to. It's called CKU and is amazing. It's going to be at the Gaylord Palms hotel and is for 3 days. It's all classes taught by the best in the business nationwide. I'm so excited!!!

Are you still coming up next week?

Renae
