Kelli: Here is what I can tell ya real quickly with what info I have here. On 051405 at 1706 hrs we were at Port Canaveral. On 052005 at 0457 we passed the Atlantic Approach (entrance) to the Canal. The straight line distance between those points is 1307 miles. Hopefully in the near future I will be linking the waypoints to show our route and transfer the info to a large chart. I may have more info in my written notes and I left those at home thinking I wouldn’t need them.

Casper is the middle of next month for me.

Tony, I should not complain about my view, I thought about that as I drove by the Grand Teton earlier this day. I guess we forget how nice things can be in our own back yard.

Hey Bob, the Mansfield Concert is about to start.

Thanks to all you ladies for helping Lynn out with her pursuit of scrap booking our adventures. Between that and her Sierra Trading Post order for a gross of Capri’s I don’t know if we will ever be able to afford to retire. LOL….. She is really doing a great job and is adhering to the Leslie School of Scrap Booking, of which the first tenant is “ If you like it, it is good.”

I can send you a creative memories catalog and that will give you a good idea of stuff along with some different page layouts. See I told you Scott signed you up for the scrapbooking class for a reason!

Anyone else that wants anything, let me know. I do 12 x 12 pages. The 8 1/2 x 11 are just too small for me.

I got another 6 pages scrapbooked yesterday. The funniest picture of the captain, with the four pirate women on his side "Linda, Leslie, Shari and Rachel". Leslie has a pirate look that is priceless!

Keep it simple. That way you don't get frustrated.

I spent a wad at Joann's on Saturday and also picked up my frames for all of Ducky's stuff at 50% off.

Also, go on Joanns.com and you can sign up for their free internet newsletter. They are always having sales that they email me about and do free shipping alot of the time.

Okay, back to work!

Dear Utah Scrapbook Queen
Can I have a catalog too?? Pretty please?? I would love to see what's available! Although that might be trouble....:rotfl:
Hey... regarding that picture...:rotfl2: we were all supposed to be saying Arrrrgghh! pirate: In every pirate picture I have... everyone else is smiling and I am saying Arrrgghh! pirate: I think Capt Thord just wanted to get the heck out of there...:rotfl: and away from us crazies!!

Does anyone out there have a picture of the Golden Mickey statue? I would love to have one for my scrapbook page, thought I took one but can't find it on any of my discs.

Renae: Thanks for the tips... I guess I should not have put my luggage tag and confetti from the floor onto my page.....:rotfl: Oh well... is computer paper acid free?? I guess I have a lot to learn!!! Thanks for the explanation of the albums too... Post type and strap hinge or what ever confused me too. The WDW album I have is like a 3 ring binder, is that another type?

Uh huh! :rotfl:

Leslie,

Is the WDW scrapbook you have dark leather? If so, I have the same one. I haven't been able to find page protector refills for it, and it's the first 12x12 3 ring I've ever seen. I'm using it for photos of us at work at WDW, because I won't need a lot of pages for that

I saw a scrapbook on the scrapyourtrip.com site that looked interesting... it looked like leather luggage from the old days, but it didn't say if it was postbound or whatever... If it's postbound, then you could probably make it work with a lot of refills. If you figure an average of 8 photos per page, then you could get 800 photos on 100 pages, or 50 page protectors. Does that make sense?

Your confetti should be ok because it's plastic. Most computer paper and copy paper are acid free now, so that's good. It's a good idea to put anything like tickets and reciepts in plastic envelopes to protect your photos, and you can buy them in different sizes at scrapbook stores, or just cut up a page protector into envelopes and adhere them onto your page. Balloons aren't safe, though, so I use balloon stickers to add to the page of things like the balloon drop. I had saved one of those gold balloons, but just to remember it by. I might put it into a plastic envelope, I don't know...

What kind of adhesive are you using? If you use a glue stick, make sure it says acid free on it. Most scrapbook adhesives are safe, and everyone has their own favorites. If you're coming up this weekend, I can show you the different types I have and what I use them for if you'd like.

I'm sending you a PM

Renae

Hey Renae...I also have the Leather binder WDW album....couldn't resist the $13.99 price tag when we were at WDW in December. Bought the 3 they had.

I got a really neat scrapbook at my local scrapbook store. It is made by We R Memory Keepers and it is their Linen 12X12 post bound album. It has a hard spine like a regular binder and you can fit over 100 pages in it. I didn't REALLY need another album but I couldn't resist it!!!!

Sorry all I can think of is Linda Blair and the Exorcist.
Hey Scott,
If you are listening to Sirius, it's playing a song that should've been on the cd.
What a big DUH! It's a "Holliday"
Bob

I had to take a call, what one are you thinking about??? I also noted that there is a bout a minuite delay between the web cast and Sirius.

I suppose that the delay is in the webcast.

Whooooo hoooo I'm so proud of myself. This is more scrapbooking than I've done in 4 years....:rotfl: Gotta keep going while I'm on a roll.....:cool1:
Hmmmm we are going to have to figure out how to get you two to meet. Well... it might take a while but I figure he'll come to Erin's wedding... you could come too and it would be a perfect place to meet. I'll sit you right next to him....:rotfl: Of course Erin isn't even engaged yet... so it might be a while.....:rotfl2:

Leslie,
True story.
Was out with my sons and grandson last night.
Talking about getting another dog.
Payton, the grandson, says "You need to get a Golden Retriever"
I say "Why?"
He says "cause they will make you rich".
"Rich?"
and he says "Yeah, they retrieve gold, don't they? ha ha ha"

Hey Scott.. how did you get that "First to Magically cross from Kingdom to Kingdom!" under your user name??? Everybody on our cruise should have that...:rotfl: Is there some way we can edit that... I'm tired of being a DIS Cast Member... I need something more exciting!

Actually you can change the text. Maybe not the color.
At the top of the page, click on the "UserCP"
On the pop-up up page, under "control panel" on the left side click on "edit profile"
Under "Optional Information" there is a spot for "Custom User Title"
There is a text box where you can enter whatever text you want. pirate:
