Thanks, Bob! It was a lifetime of work and effort!!
Actually, it may have been fate...I'm rarely up that late, but we were coming home from our latest cooking class at our (fairly) local Whole Foods store. I couldn't believe it when I got home from the cruise and got the June schedule. The last class of the month was called "Panamanian Pleasures"!!!
We had an AWESOME time, and the "instructor" was a gal in her early 20s here as a cultural exchange ambassador. I got a new recipe I plan to make for the 4th--Panamanian potato salad. It has beets in it, and I was really surprised how much I liked it! I'm only a pickled beets kinda gal, and not much of a potato person, but it was wonderful!
Gaby's first class went over SO well, that she's talking about doing at least another class. We suggested, and she jumped on, 2 ideas right away---desserts and breakfast, so I may have two additional Panamanian classes.
So, as I was saying, I got home from this AWEsome class, and poor Lynda was slaving away to get to page 1000, so I felt obligated to help!!
Sorry for stealing your thunder, Lynda!
