Not that this will make you feel better...

BUT, when my docs finally arrived I too was concerned. Of course we were told from an earlier conversation that our 2 sets of docs were printed separately. Well, when I retrieved the packaging from our trash (R had previously emptied the box, but I was curious) I couldn't help but notice all kinds of chicken scratch handwritten all over the outside of the box. Upon careful examination I realized there were two UPS labels on the box - the one it was originally sent to - was also my prior residence. I hadn't lived there in almost 3 years and have been on at least one cruise since we moved. I still have to call DCL and get this corrected in the database but boy was I shocked!

I do hope no one else has this challenge and trust the doc fairies will deliver today.

I also got a call today, (actually yesterday, but I have not been to bed yet) from as CM asking the same, (transportation to and from the ports) she did not say why, just that she needed to fill in some blanks.

I didn't get a phone call, but I did get a "form" letter explaining the transportation that Disney has set up for the 50th celebration and to "thank me" for choosing their transportation from MCO and WDW and back to the Port.

BUT - I didn't choose it because I am driving to WDW and the Port on my own.

I always question everything they do. :confused3

Are you sure we weren't separated at birth! :rotfl2: I thought those things only happened to me. How AWFUL!!! I am so glad you were there right away to follow up... and that your daughter has her documents. WHY ON EARTH would they send them to your mother's address.

Hang in there! We'll ALL strike up a band when your documents finally arrive!

I know all stress that you all have had over your Docs. For us CMs. They don't send any docs. We down load some of them from the Castmember Web site and get the rest at a Castmember store. Of course we have to fill them out, no pre-printed.
 
STATEROOM CREDITS FOR THIS PANAMA CRUISE

Hi everyone,

I have a question for you has anyone received stateroom credits for this Panama cruise, no matter how you paid for this cruise ( credit, cash...) if you changed a prior reserved cruise to the Panama cruise dates once they were made available ?

Example: While on a cruise in late 04 we picked a random date for a cruise in late 05, we were given stateroom credits for booking on board. When the dates for the Panama cruise were announced we moved the random 05 cruise reservation to the Panama reservation.

Hope this makes sense... If you have done this change and have stateroom credits can you please PM me.

I found this very amusing....maybe they sent my documents to my old address in MA? Have you gotten any of your confirmations, prior to this? Who knows....


As of 8pm last night, my TA HAD NOT received my documents. I asked her to pretty please overnight them to me- upon their arrival to her. We'll see....

I really hate the thought of pay $180 for the internet use on the ship for two weeks. Still have not decided if I am going to do it or not. Another decision to finalize.

Robb and I are contemplating getting his company to "expense" the cost of the internet- so he can contact them if needed....and I can do my school work.

Is that one of your garages? (at Rush) If so- I owe you 0.42 from a visit a couple of months ago! I went in and thought I made it out before the next time allotment- so I didn't run to the cash machine...and I was 42 cents short. They took all my information- including my address- to be honest I was nervous when I parked there yesterday, fearing I was on some list.
(they even asked me to pay by check- but wouldn't take my credit card?)

However, I was able to leave yesterday without incident and a fully paid bill... :goodvibes

If I had known you were familiar with that area so closely- I would have had you give me directions to the FOP of Chicago.

Buy more pins- and I'll even give you the 42 cents on the cruise!

Thanks Kevin and everyone! What I think happened, but DCL won't admit it........way back in 1999, my Mom had booked the land and sea for the whole family and paid for it. The entire reservation was in her name and her address. This is the only thing I can think of why they have Aimee at her address. Even the docs we got say that Aimee lives there! Aimee and I have taken 4 more DCL cruises since then and they all have come to my address! Since you had the same thing happen, it sounds like Disney plugged in and received client information from years ago! I called DCL and advised them to delete this old info from the computer. This address does not exist anymore. I also emailed DU and told them to make sure that they don't have it in their system, but why would they? My Mom never used them, only I.

Well, the other tracking number I wasn't told about is showing today, at MY address, so we should be good to go! :banana:

Hi everyone!

Disney Cruise Line is requesting information on how you are getting to Port Canaveral on May 14, 2005 and how you are getting to the airport from the Port of Los Angeles on May 28th if you have not booked Disney Cruise Line ground transfers. You are receiving this email if your reservation indicates you don’t have round-trip ground transfers booked through Disney Cruise Line. Some of you may have one-way transfers, but we need to know your entire plan for ground transfers.

For those of you planning to drive to Port Canaveral, DCL highly recommends you park at Orlando Intl Airport and use some sort of ground transport (either theirs or some other source) from the airport to Port Canaveral. The reason is that when you return to Orlando on 5/28/05, the DCL port will be closed and therefore the parking lot will be closed and locked up. It will not reopen until 5/29 when the Disney Wonder is in port. DCL advises the parking at the airport is $7 (versus $10/day at Port Canaveral).

Please provide your transportation plans to me as soon as possible. DCL is trying to assess the need for additional buses in both Orlando and Los Angeles. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Uh oh!!! :scared1: Now I know what I've messed up!!! I'm supposed to go back to Orlando on the 28th.....

Geez! In order to save $3 a day....I'm thinking SOMEone is really confused.....
 
Good news...I think! After I turned in my two-week notice at work, my boss was a little upset, then after lunce, he and his wife called me into thier office and said they did'nt want to lose me, and they would rather lose me for two weeks rather than forever, and I got a good bonus incentive to start working on when I get back! I feel a little relieved! I would have been nervous on the cruise knowing that I had to start a new job when I got back!
Aww man, I am driving to the port! I guess now I will have to figure out how I will get from the airport to the port! It's always something!

Good morning cruisers!!
10 days from now we will be lining up at the Port and scaring the heck out of the CM's (and Non-DIS passengers) with our craziness!!:crazy: Can't wait!
Packing anxiety really hit me this AM as I looked over all the piles of clothes and "stuff" that I have everywhere! I think it might be a good idea to look over our calendar and kind of plan out what to wear each day.... I've never done this but I'm thinking it might help me eliminates some of these things that I probably won't wear anyway.... Does anyone else do this? Does it work? :confused3

Then I have to organize the pins that I'm going to bring.
AND I ONLY HAVE 7 DAYS TO DO THIS SINCE WE ARE NOW LEAVING ON 5/11.......:cheer2: Not until late afternoon though.
Hey you guys who are doing DiveQuest on 5/12.... what time will you be there... maybe we'll come and try to catch you in the tank. :fish:
