We only have one pt booked the whole time we are gone so far! And he is taking 5 days off during that time! Just does not make sense. HI: For those of you traveling to WDW this week or right before our cruise, and you are signed up for Disney's Magical Express, the following might affect you somehow: A friend of mine today got this notice re: it: JUST BE ON NOTICE:

HOPE IT DOESN'T APPLY TO ANY OF US:

"Dear xxxxx,

I am sending the following information to all of our
clients traveling in May. Disney's free
transportation service, Magical Express, is scheduled
to begin its service to and from the Orlando
International Airport and the Disney resorts on May 5.
As of today, April 27, 2005, one week prior to
service beginning, we do not have the necessary
luggage tags and information you need for the service....

As your travel agency, we are concerned that any of
our clients using Magic Express during the start up
period will experience significant issues with both
luggage and inconvenience when using Magical Express.
These issues can cause the beginning of your vacation
to NOT be the Magical Journey we hoped it would
become. We are now NOT planning on having luggage tags
to forward to you if you are traveling with Magical
Express between now and May 24.

Approx. 5000 people have signed up for the service for
May 5th alone. If Disney is unable to provide the
appropriate luggage tags as their actions are
indicating, we have serious doubts about their ability
to get the luggage of 5000 guests to their rooms
without incident."

Remember me posting when my CEO had a fit that I would be gone for 11 work days? she couldn't have me gone for two weeks? What would she do?

Well, I was looking at her calendar trying to figure out when to do checks for May and realized that she is gone for 8 days when I am gone for 11. Guess I should have taken more time off!!!!

OK I'm bored at work. I mean I'm working, but the work is horribly boring. At least I'm more than halfway done with it. This is my last big project before I leave on vacation. I hope to be done with it tomorrow. Then I can start making my cruise binder/notebook.

As Murphy would have it, I printed out all my confirmations last week. The next morning Air Tran emailed a scheduled change. Only arriving 10 minutes later in Orlando, but wouldn't you know they would wait until after I print and highlight the confirmation!

I know we're not first, but we are leaving Ft. Lauderdale on Friday a.m., 5/13, around 6 a.m. and getting there, checking into OKW around Noon. thinking about changing reservations and leaving on Thursday morning.
