Hi Kay , you posted while I was typing. Can't wait to go to breakfast with you guys. Love breakfast. Harry asleep, I assume? Everybody here is. I usually fall asleep early these days as the stress is overwhelming. Other than posting, I don't get to think much about the cruise. Got Kristen some clothes. Billy fights with me about a dress jacket. NOt bad fighting , just not cooperating.

Not sure of category because it is Hdcp. - I think cat 9 - I don't have the balcony - got inside. Guess I could go look at papers, but then I have to get up, walk in other room and leave my Hot Chocolate. I sleep good that way.

"A Progressive Disser" with rooms to show. I can't take the time to keep track of a new list. I "just lose it, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" (eminem) when I get on the boards. Otherwise , panic mode. Don't yet have a digital camera. Angela was looking last night and has been for a while. We also need to arrange boarding for Sparky, the bassett. Haven't started to pack a thing and I'm on call this weekend.

Bill: I will trade you a look at my lifeboat suite for a look at your Cat 3 Seriously.. we'll probably end up with the Cat 12 so if you want to take a look at a steerage room we'll be happy to oblige! I would love to see anything above a Cat 9 which is as far as we've gone. I actually love the inside rooms because I love complete darkness to sleep. plus.. it's always just DH and I so we really don't need the extra room, although if they want to upgrade us we won't complain...

Leslie - is it raining over there. It is storming here. Can't leave the house yet. Internet is acting like dial-up. I hate that. Have to call Bellsouth again today. Yesterday they said there was a problem with something on the line. Thank goodness I have the maintenance so I don't have to pay for anything. Ugh!!!!!

Dial up is the story of my life. We just got another card from Bellsouth with an offer.. so I have to look it over and see. As much as I'm online I should just get something faster. Can't decide between cable modem or DSL.

Leslie: Call Bellsouth and ask about bundling your services. IT IS AWESOME. I just got my sisters to do it and their bill went down by $40 + a little more EACH MONTH.

If you have Direct TV, that can be bundled, as well, and you have just one bill with your LD and phone and you get discounts on your Direct TV and FREE LD anywhere. I also got TIVO at the same time and love it terribly

My sisters call me all the time and say it is so well worth it and so glad they called.

Good morning everyone...

Well once again the brown truck did not show up. Mom & I went out last night did errands, went to dinner, I figured the ups man would feel safe and stop, no such luck...

I did find a cute pair of shorts for the cruise. So now I have 1 pair of shorts and 2 formal gowns, and a new digital camcorder. I am in big trouble if I can't pull enough clothes together. I have NO clothes right now... Starting to get tweaked about packing, I guess I must address that this weekend.

Now Saturday, If any of you want a laugh, think of me.. I will walk my Newfoundland puppy gulliver up to our local fire station for shots and to register him for new dog tags. Gulliver is a " teenager" now and if he does not like the walking route you have chosen he lays down in the road/sidewalk and then it is a battle, basically who gives up first, he goes my way or I let him choose the walk route. At 185# I can't pick him up and I can't drag him. Normally I let him choose his walk route, but Saturday i have an agenda that has to come first. Now what does not help is townspeople drive by and start laughing themselves silly, or worse those people out walking stop and pet Gulliver, hey would you get up then ... But in his defense he loves his momma and is my best buddy. However he really needs to stop trying to lay in your lap...


Friday night before cruise...

For anyone who wants to join a group of us at Grills for early dinner Friday night PLMK and I will add you to the list. We can take a maximum of 25 people (per Grills request) and already have 6 on the list. So we have room for 19-20 more disers if you want to join the dinner at Grills and watch ships leave. PM me if you want to come along, Grills has great food, super views and is pretty inexpensive..

...I’m not technically a lurker because I do post on occasion, just nowhere near as some of you folks (I don’t even type fast enough to post as often as some of you). Nor do we plan our cruise details. I know many of you compulsive planners may have near cardiac event when you read this, so please be seated. We have never booked any of our cruises more than eight weeks out (including this one), we just throw our luggage into the car around 10 or 11am embarkation day, then drive over to the port and hop on the ship. We don’t book any excursions in advance, we just see what’s available after we board and if something looks interesting, we try it. When we’re on the cruise, we never know what we are doing tomorrow until we get the Navigator at turn-down. We enjoy the shows and activities, but a big part of our “Must Do” list is to “Do Nothing”. I must admit I feel very unique among most of you DISer’s and I can hear the whispers now at the DIS meet, “Those are the people that Don’t Plan Anything!”. But, hopefully we can still be friends in spite our differences and if I miss any (most) of the events, it’s not because I don’t care, I’m probably just sitting around staring at the waves going by.

Okay, you're killing me! Bruce, don't mistake for us thinking you're odd...It's envy, trust me! Sometimes it's a curse to be a type-A++ personality. I think those of us that post so much, are already packed or most of the way there, booked on day 1, have all excursions booked, and are planning costumes for the themed nights are in need of some serious help sometimes. But at the same time, we love it.

We look forward to meeting you all! And I promise that we won't whisper about your more relaxed approach to life.
