I just returned from a "little" more shopping and was VERY successful! Normally, I hate shopping for myself, but today! Wow! One store and lots of clothes later, I think I've got everything I need. What a relief...

Speaking of shopping....how is it on the Magic? Any good clothes?

The closest office for budget is code lg2 and someone on the board did verify they do pick up at the port. Don't count on the national office knowing.

I am dealing with the same issue, if you plug in on mapquest the actual address of the cruise port in San Pedro,and enter car rental you can find the car rental companies that are there by distance from port.

Do people kiss hello in Florida? I remember when I moved to Massachusetts and all these people would kiss hello- after living in Utah I thought it was really strange......

People don't do that here in Illinois or Wisconsin- atleast people I know don't do it.

Hi Laurie. So which store was so productive for you? I'm terribly curious...not because I need more clothes (DH to bite his lip here!) but because I always love a good productive shopping trip!

Shopping isn't too bad, it's really Disney clothing (DCL versions of what you would find at the resorts), with some of it dressier than other stuff. Then they also have some Tommy Bahama style clothing that's usually very nice. But not a huge selection of that. I always somehow manage to find a couple of things to buy,

Celeste, congrats on the good interview. Hope we will be celebrating your new job on board. Do you know when you will hear back from them?

Thanks! Work was really good. I learned more than I thought in class last week, but I'm glad I get some more time with a trainer, too.

People here only kiss hello if it's a really good friend or family who haven't seen each other in a while... I guess some people do, but there is a lot of hugging at the airport whenever we're there! Especially if someone brings Utah food... Linda, that's a hint for astro bars, lol... like they would get all the way here without being eaten... RIGHT!

I am doc-less too....

I should hear back from Rush as soon as they hear from my references- so hopefully before I go next week....we'll see. I also have to hear $$$- because I have a good wage where I am- so we'll see.
