Hi Angela... I'm smiling too! If that cracks you up... wait 'til you see me in spandex! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hopefully I won't look TOO BAD!

Gosh! Why am I at work when I want to be at home PACKING!!!

3 hours to go! (for today... then it's 6 years to go!... or more)

Yooo Hooo, Girlfriend, you ain't seen nothing til you see 275 pounds of red hot momma in spandex capris! Of course, they are black and everyone knows black slims............yeah right, nothing gonna slim this aft!
If the thought of all of this luciousness is too much for ya - then you can just advert your little mickey-eyes, :earseek:cause here I come - spandex and loud tee shirts.

Let's start a conga line: Bossy bottoms in Spandex! whoohoo! :disrocks:

Nothing here as usual..... No documents, no Brown truck Nothin, nada, zilch...

I am ready to strangle one of my marine surveyor clients. When will people get it through their heads that I can NOT control the post office. If I could, I would have our documents and everyone else would have documents also...

This day can not end soon enough... Packing the last 2 boxes for the orphanage tonight and UPS will pick up at the lab tomorrow... Now I have to work on getting us packed. Measured the duffle bags last night and thankfully they are "legal" to use on the plane.

For all you sugar heads, I will also bring a treat to the port to nibble on while we wait to board. Now we just need someone to bring drinks and we will be all set.

Off to tell my boss I am going crazy today, maybe I will take a therapy walk for a few minutes ..

Bye, Kim

RE: munchies at the port, I am sure we will have some left overs from the night before, ( I always tend to over buy) so eat a lite breakfast. Maybe we should offer all our food stuffs to the other cruisers so there will be more shrimp for us.

:rotfl2: Don't know why you would think there would be leftovers with this group...:rotfl2: I do like the idea of filling them up to keep them away from our shrimp though.... you notice I said OUR .... so I'm willing to share... ::yes:: You, me and Georgie....

Georgie: It's the manufacturers... they keep cutting the sizes smaller and smaller. If any clothing company would cut the garment in a size 12 and mark it size 6 and so on....do you know how much money they would make??? FROM ME ALONE?? Okay entrepreneurs ... get to work!!!:rotfl:

Shari (scubamom)... You and Jim should be on this cruise... come on... Matt can watch Lisa for the last two weeks of school......:rotfl2:

Hmm...while shopping (who me? where's Regina?) in NYC I came across a Dolce & Gabanna jean jacket (oooh ahhh). It was a cute, short cut, but the size intrigued me. It was XXXL and I thought, who in the world would need D&G in that size, not to mention why would they make one so "big" for a designer like that. So for sh**s and grins I tried it on. Mind you I wear a L or XL dress shirt depending on the cut. It hit great on the waist, perfect sleeves, but I couldn't get it across my chest! I thought it was so funny...even for men, it's the same. I can wear 3 different pants sizes, 3 different jacket sizes, and at least for shirts XL almost always works, though I have to go for L or I feel pregnant with all the extra room...

Hmm. I need to make a list of who not to meet...I don't need to find any shoppers...I do well enough on my own! :teeth:

:rotfl: Isn't it the truth!! At this point I buy what fits and rip out the size tag!!! I can't imagine what I might want to buy in Mexico..... I keep thinking I'll just get the stuff at the Epcot pavillion and save from schlepping it back on a plane...:rotfl:Well.. except for Tequila anyway.. and I'll probably end up drinking that.... or maybe some vanilla.... don't throw away those styro shipppers... I may need them!!!

Did I miss that one?? Anyone have information on this???
was on there now it is not ??

the Dis luncheon will be 5 / 27 @ noon and I Think it will Be At Parrot Cay..

Gloomy day with drizzle here in S. Cal. But I guess it beats the snow! Repo shirts arrived last night and look great. Still no docs but UPS doesn't usually get here until late. They dropped the shirts off last night at about 7pm. Anymore news on "the letter" from anyone who has received theirs?

Had a little party at DD's school yesterday. Two kindergarten classes got together to welcome home one of the daddy's who just returned from Iraq. It was really a moving sight. We decorated the gym in red, white and blue, lots of flags and 26 kindergartners singing America the Beautiful to a proud Marine Staff Sergeant. There we alot of moist eyes in the room. They provided him with the good 'ol bbq of hamburgers and hot dogs. He in turn mixed up a full meal of MRE's (meals ready to eat) so that the kids could taste it. Several little ones (DD included) asked for seconds! It was a fun day.

I have been off the board for over 24 hours now---I can't believe I actually got to the end??? When I couldn't go any further, I actually refreshed my screen to see if was right...

I still do not have any documents....nor have they been printed. They actually told me I could get on the ship without them....interesting- but not as fun.

Kay, it appears that I have appeared on your list for rooms- would you still like me to show my category 5? (I had originally spoken the the MD about that). Are we still eating/drinking our way around- I wouldn't want to be a bad hostess....I just want to be able to prepare.

Thanks!

KEWL.. I love Parrot Cay .

so I'm willing to share...You, me and Georgie....

DO we have to...well maybe one or two, maybe if we have to.

That is great, pretty special.

One MRE is max carbo overload, don’t read the label if you are cutting carbs.

MRE's really aren't THAT bad.. at least some of them. Don't eat the hot dog MRE's tho... there are somethings that shouldn't be even more processed

One last thing...
I have been told by the waitstaff that if intend on paying by room charges for tip- that the amount is spread out to everyone. So- if your server does something special, please give them cash- individually. They also appreciate phone cards.
