Would anyone be interested in having a scavenger hunt in the afternoon on a sea day?
Is anyone interested - or is this a dumb idea? Go ahead, I can take it - tell me the truth. Over the top? Everyone just wants to sit around and drink? There just isn't enough time to do everything already planned. Sounds great. You don't understand what the heck I'm talking about? We already have to much on our minds, one more thing and our heads will explode!

Today I packed the bathing suits.... had to try them all on to select the ones that look the least horrible. Had to remember to bring one along that has no shiny or sparkly stuff.... don't want to attract the baracudas on our snokeling adventure now!!!

I love the scavenger hunt idea!
If we were on a shorter cruise I might worry about having too much to do and not enough hours in the day... but we are going on a 14 day cruise!

Count us in!


We did a pin thing at Disneyland once.
They gave us an envelope with clues and we went around and collected 7 or 8 post cards (you could also buy a pin at each location) then we took all the post cards back to a stand and they gave us a free pin.
I think there were a lot of people there just to do that - we didn't realize it was going on until we asked what the lines were for and a CM gave us an envelope. It was kind of fun, but the kids were not crazy about it as they just wanted to get to the rides, not stand in lines for post cards.

I'm assuming that was a Pin Pursuit? Pin People... help me out if I'm wrong.

I'm thinking we had better 0 out the balance on the CC before we set sail as I'm sure I will be able to rack up a sizeable bill.

Thinking creatively.............you can use your pirate hook, go outside to your verandah, jump up, hook onto the verandah of the Walt Suite one deck above, climb onto the verandah, and use that "hook" to gain access to the Walt Suite.

See.....DCL was thinking after all......with a little pixie dust this might just work. Just remember, we don't want to hear........................

This is how it would work. Everyone participating would form a team of two or more. Each team would have to have a digital camera. Then the teams would have to hunt around the ship to find items described only with basic clues - when the item is found, one team member would have to take a picture of the item with the other team member in the picture. After a certain amount of time, the teams return and report on the number of items found - the proof is in the picture. You not only get to go hunting all over the ship, you also get souvenir pictures.

The winner is the team with the most correct pictures. The tie breaker would be the team that gets back first of those that are tied.

Here is an example: These help you get from one deck to the other without walking, but wait for the door to open before you take the picture. The answer would be a photo of an elevator with the door open with one of your team inside.

I know this will come as a complete surprise to everyone, but one of my interests is improv comedy. Since DCL took the improv out of Off-Beat, it's up to us to bring improv back to the Magic. So, I'll be "hosting" some improv games on one of the at sea days TBD. Anyone interested? No experience necessary. It's just for fun. Audience members needed.

Attire, = There will be two (2) formal and two (2) semi formal evenings. There will be one (1) pirate(1)tropical nights. I guess that leaves nine (9) "cruise casual" nights were jeans are allowed in the dining rooms (don't even get me started!)

Food = There are plans to introduce new lunch and dinner menus so that no menu will be repeated during the course of the sailing.

Entertainment = A new production show to be offered. Called " Twice Charmed ". Cinderella themed Stage Show.

Donald Ducky Williams, will be onboard and we will recieve 2 Lithographs
1 for going on the cruise and one for going thru the canal.
This has been said on other cruises by DDW .

Canal Party = All seas travel, is hosting a party in the Roy Suite the day of the Canal crossing . for its customers. You can do better than that..

Return Cruisers Gift = It is rumored that there is a new gift not a beach towel as on past Cruise's.
