In all reality, most folks will start to see docs about a month ahead of time. Usually, those that booked directly with DCL will get theirs first, then those who booked through TA's. Then it's up to your TA to turn the docs around to you. :rolleyes1 It always helps if your TA is also a friend that you can take to lunch... princess: I'm betting that most people will get their docs 3-4 weeks out. Unless you are Linda! Then you will cut it to the wire! :bitelip:

Animal Kingdom Event - it is a pin/merchandise event. Registration was a couple of months ago. Some pins/merchandise is exclusive to the event registrants only. Afterwards some of it is avaialable to the public, as well. It is a two day event - Friday & Sat. and Sunday is public day - for the pins/merchandise that is left over. If you are not into the collectible pins, you wouldn't know about it. Was/is $125.00 to register per person and then the merchandise/pins is on top of that. Thanks for the information....I saw the pharmacist today and I told him there was an event happening at the AK and he told me he could get a room no problem...it was finding a flight....The lowest he has been quoted so far was $900 CDN a person. I suggested driving instead!!!!!

I know this will come as a complete surprise to everyone, but one of my interests is improv comedy. Since DCL took the improv out of Off-Beat, it's up to us to bring improv back to the Magic. So, I'll be "hosting" some improv games on one of the at sea days TBD. Anyone interested? No experience necessary. It's just for fun. Audience members needed.

Tink33 = Walks around the deck, workout in the gym, swimming, dancing at the deck parties - every bit of exercise means more chocolate souffle. And I will think of a reward program for those that join us. pm if intrested. All levels of fitness are welcome. Official Name of Group.

I thought I would do a card and get as many people as possible to sign and give it to him with the pin as a token of appreciation. He really does go above and beyond.

Seaulater = Disboard Navigator. The Navigator To Be Made and delivered to everyone's "fish" for when they arrived at their stateroom door.
I will make up the navigator (for everything we have scheduled prior to the cruise), print, bring, and deliver to everyone. I will also bring extras for the sailaway party(ies).
What has been done in the past is that the Navigator was posted, before we left on a website and then people could print out if they wanted.

Some folks are staying at 2 of the most stayed at resorts at the Port
Ron Jons and the Radisson, no official meets have been Set up as of yet but Look for folks all day around the pool area's also several others at the Airport hyatt and plans are in works.

Attire, = There will be two (2) formal and two (2) semi formal evenings. There will be one (1) pirate(1)tropical nights. I guess that leaves nine (9) "cruise casual" nights were jeans are allowed in the dining rooms (don't even get me started!)

Food = There are plans to introduce new lunch and dinner menus so that no menu will be repeated during the course of the sailing.

Entertainment = A new production show to be offered. Called " Twice Charmed ". Cinderella themed Stage Show.

Donald Ducky Williams, will be onboard and we will recieve 2 Lithographs
1 for going on the cruise and one for going thru the canal.
This has been said on other cruises by DDW .

Canal Party = All seas travel, is hosting a party in the Roy Suite the day of the Canal crossing . for its customers. You can do better than that..

Return Cruisers Gift = It is rumored that there is a new gift not a beach towel as on past Cruise's.

Tippy and Furval the cat have a pet sitter who works for chocolate. Grandma! Actually Lee's mom who takes care of the pets very well. The mind her better than they do us. Furv would love to stay there, but Tippy is always ready to go home.

No documents - but the letter from DCL suggesting that everyone have a passport showed up here today.
We sent our applications in 3 weeks ago and are still waiting for ours - don't think I'd want to be just starting the process. Might be cutting it a bit close!

We will be there for the event starting on Wednesday and staying until Monday May 1st. Plan to wear a tshirt advertising the 14 day cruise just in case others are there from the cruise as well.

My last two surviving houseplants will probably survive my long absence - they've done really well surviving my presence. But I'm not planting anything on the balcony until I get home from this cruise.

I love both of them but after the vote we have decided to go with the Incredibles (we are outnumbered by the kids 2 to 1).

I don't even want to get started on the drama we've been through searching for a place for our pack to stay while we cruise. We've finally decided and it's costing almost as much as the cruise!! Hopefully they will make it thru without too much trauma , although I'M having a lot of trauma over the whole thing!! Lynda I hope Cash has some time off so I can get a doggie fix.

Well, I've been thinking about all the stuff I'm bringing and wearing. Got the formal and sem-formal down pat. Don't think I'm going to do the pirate. Tropical is easy.

Now, down to the rest of the regular nights. I can wear nice skorts or skirts (or sundresses) to dining on regular nights, but is DH destined to wear dockers (or nice pants)? It seems so strange that skirts and sandals are acceptable for women, but men must still wear long pants?? :confused3 Are there any other choices for men? I'm going to be sick of seeing him in khakis for that many days! Frankly, he looks great in dress shorts, dress sandals and a silk tropical shirt!

There is always the grass skirt, also known as a Hawaiian Kilt.

It all depends on who is driving of course. Normally for us it is a bit over an hour. On May 14, it may be somewhere in the 40 minute range -- or less. :teleport:

Take the 417 out of Disney until you get to 528. It is like $2.50 in tolls on the 417 to 528. Interstate 4 has been a NIGHTMARE :scared1: the past several weeks. I'm trying to avoid it at all costs.
