Thanks everyone who responded to my questions about changing over to your cruise...you are a wonderful bunch of folks!

Of course, I am kicking myself for not being smart and holding both cruises like someone mentioned!

We will most likely switch over tomorrow if we get the go from the grandparents. Of course, we have to make sure they can get off...if not, we're back to our 7day. I'm resolved to taking the kids out of school because it is only a difference of about 3 days once I look at what we were taking off to spend time in DL anyway.

THANKS ALL...if we're aboard, I've got some MAJOR catching up to do (you guys have 387 pages of this???? I can't read that much in one sitting or ten sittings!).

I know this will come as a complete surprise to everyone, but one of my interests is improv comedy. Since DCL took the improv out of Off-Beat, it's up to us to bring improv back to the Magic. So, I'll be "hosting" some improv games on one of the at sea days TBD. Anyone interested? No experience necessary. It's just for fun. Audience members needed, too, but a minimum drink requirement may be imposed to enhance the comedic value of participants.

Seaulater = Disboard Navigator. The Navigator To Be Made and delivered to everyone's "fish" for when they arrived at their stateroom door.
I will make up the navigator (for everything we have scheduled prior to the cruise), print, bring, and deliver to everyone. I will also bring extras for the sailaway party(ies).
What has been done in the past is that the Navigator was posted, before we left on a website and then people could print out if they wanted.

So here's what it will list:
1. People's names; location and whether they are playing tag or not..
2. Each day and the schedule of disboard activities for that day.
3. A place for Notes.
4. Anything else that might be deemed important.

Some folks are staying at 2 of the most stayed at resorts at the Port
Ron Jons and the Radisson, no official meets have been Set up as of yet but Look for folks all day around the pool area's also several others at the Airport hyatt and plans are in works.

Look at the bright side...............at least you don't have 25,000 posts to catch up on like the 10 day Christmas Cruise! That group, well, let's just say that we had alot of talking going on, especially when it came to wine and carafes.

Has anyone ordered the baby doll or the fitted scoop ladies shirts from razzle dazzle or whatever and got them yet? I was wondering how the pin design came out and how the shirts are.

I really like the baby doll but I won't like it if the sleeves are so short that they are almost non-exsistent.

Bob I so wish we had overtime at my job but I guess I have to be thankful for a great boss who didn't even question my 3 week vacation request!!!!

I'm going to try to be good and not buy every picture or souvenir on the ship. NOT!!!!!!

There is a plan to produce a set of twelve different, limited edition Mickey Mouse bean bags. Each Mickey Mouse bean bag will be themed to represent a different park (11) including the Disney Cruise Line.... and each bean bag will come with a matching pin!!
There is a redesign of the Pal Mickey in the works coming for the 50th that will have an "interactive" pin like the large, light up Magical Moments pins we've seen before. And hold on to your life jackets.... there is a whole range of Disney Cruise Line exclusive merchandise for the 50th!!!

Noticed something interesting tonight as I was studying the Panama Canal nav charts. Navigation markers are inbound until the Pedro Miguel Locks. It is there they change to outbound. So the navigable channel in the canal will be marked by red nuns on the starboard side of the ship, with green cans on the port side until we get to and through the Pedro Miguel Locks, then it will change and we will have the green cans on the starboard side and the red nuns on the port. The mean level of Gutan Lake is 25.91 meters and Miraflores Lake mean level is 16.46 meters, and the operating depth of the channels is 14.63 meters. Just think this trip will be the first time the Magic will be above sea level.

I know mostly useless info for most but pretty interesting to me. I drive the guys at work nuts with this kinda info.

DH and I have a friend who is a chart fanatic too! Before a sailing trip to Maine he had the whole thing laid out with every buoy and lobster buoy marked! You've gotta love GPS!
