Hello fellow scrapbookers!!!!!

I went to one of the scrapbook stores near my home tonight that I had not been to in some time. I wanted to check out if they had any different Disney stuff scrapbook. BOY DID THEY EVER!!!! I had a hard time choosing what to spend my $20 on!!!!

I was telling the couple that owns the store about our trip and that we were having a scrapbook class on board and the lady thought it was cool that Disney was now getting into scrapbooking and holding classes. When I told her it was a fellow cruiser (Linda - Seaulater) holding the class she asked where she signed up for this cruise!!!!! Just talking to them has made me even more excited to be on this cruise.

I can't wait to meet everyone and to give some lucky fellow scrapbooker my Disney scrapbook grab bag!!!!!!!!

The pin design looks great, but wouldn't it look even better if it was one way on the front of the shirt and then flipped over on the back? I thought someone had talked about that before.

We also received the coconut mailing. It is a very nice piece. But we will add to the mystery. My wife and I have been on the cruise 4 times now. the piece did not come in either of our names.

We had a niece that stayed with us a few years ago for about a year and half, she signed up for various Disney Stuff while she was here, she was 14 at the time. She had the same last name as us. The piece arrived today in her name. Even though she has never been on the DCL. So the mystery continues.

Had about a 5 hour drive back home from out of town tonight and spent the time thinking about the cruise. One big thought that came to mind was that we are going to have to carry on the sailaway gifts just in case the luggage doesn't reach the cabin in time.

Could just see us packing it in the checked luggage and then it not showing up on time. Then what would we do with all the little gifts?

Serious Saturday – Yes I am Seriously wanting a Conch Cooler……..

15 degrees above and it looks like it might be a clear day. Lynn is working graves the next three months, so when she gets off this morn we are heading to Idaho Falls, Crazy but that is our closest Walmart. We will see if there are any cruise items we just have to get.

Got all the Blue Charts loaded to the laptop last night. Pretty neat stuff if you are a map person.

Also gotta do the Disney Visa card rewards before this trip. Should I get them now or wait till April to redeem?

I don't use my Disney Rewards card that much. Use AmEx for FF miles for a trip to Hawaii this summer - wouldn't travel that far w/o first class. Since there are 7 of us going, we need lots of FF miles. Son is renewing his marriage vows at a ceremony on the beach near his house. Never been there and so looking foward to it.

I know this will come as a complete surprise to everyone, but one of my interests is improv comedy. Since DCL took the improv out of Off-Beat, it's up to us to bring improv back to the Magic. So, I'll be "hosting" some improv games on one of the at sea days TBD. Anyone interested? No experience necessary. It's just for fun. Audience members needed, too, but a minimum drink requirement may be imposed to enhance the comedic value of participants.

Seaulater = Disboard Navigator for this cruise. Now, I'm not coming up with an original idea here, but credit goes to Mark and Mary from the 10 day Christmas Cruise who made the Navigator and delivered to everyone's "fish" for when they arrived at their stateroom door.

I will make up the navigator (for everything we have scheduled prior to the cruise), print, bring, and deliver to everyone. I will also bring extras for the sailaway party(ies).
What Mary did is post the Navigator before we left on her website and then people could print out if they wanted.
So here's what it will list:
1. People's names; location and whether they are playing tag or not..
2. Each day and the schedule of disboard activities for that day.
3. A place for Notes
4. Anything else that might be deemed important.

Ron Jons and the Radisson, no official meets have been Set up as of yet but Look for folks all day around the pool area's also several others at the Airport hyatt and plans are in works.

Kay,

Blue Charts are the nautical charts from Garmin, will use them with my GPS. Kinda pricey to get the whole set for our route but I like Maps. Will be marking various waypoints and then transferring them (at home) to a nautical chart.

Since our cruise is Paid in Full we have been deciding on weather or not to upgrade from cat 11 to cat 7 or wait a little longer ?
DCl site show Cat 7 GTY.. HMMMMMM
there are so few of those rooms how can they do that???

Or take our chance with our cat 11 for an upgrade, or downgrade to Cat 12
witch there are even less of .. and take our chances from an upgrade from the our luck we will downgrade to cat 12 and that is where we will Get stuck at least now we are on Deck 7 inside but still deck seven not 1 or 2

Been thinking of the Cat 4 but we have the Cat 5, Who knows how it will all sort out. Don't think there is much difference in the Cat 4 and 5, just a little more room. We like deck 7 for it's location. Still have the hopes of the Cat 1 upgrade, LOL ROTFLOL....what a dreamer I am ....

Very good thought! Also my gifts will add too much weight to my suitcase. This is going to be very interesting getting on the plane to say the least. I recently purchased a wonderful....but big lowepro camera bag which will carry all my equipment. That in itself will be one carryon, then my regular carryon which hopefully the sailaway gifts will fit into, hmm...I will have to "sneak" on my purse as that will be 3 items. I just hope that Jet Blue is lax about things like that?

The more people that book the CAT 7 GTY, is more hope for me to either upgrade, or move to a CAT 7 on a higher deck. Either way, I am so excited to be going on this trip even if I remain where I am booked! (still waiting for my waitlist to come through) Since March 14th is the deadline for everyone to pay in full, don't you think everyone should get their permanent assignments shortly after? Of course there always is still hope for an upgrade....Last year for 18 months we had our stateroom assignment. After we got our documents, and only days before our cruise we got an upgrade. So it can happen right up to the last minute!

How do you do that drive to Idaho Falls all the time? Quite a drive. Heck, we're driving to Indy today and I don't relish it.
