It boggles my mind that the fools thread has 11,000 posts. Why can't we get some jibberish to clog up our thread?
Bill :rotfl2:

Bill, regarding the t-shirts, I ordered XL from cafe press, I like to wear t-shirts big, and also I am "pooh" size LOL (no snakeskin for me these days!) I will let you know when I get the order from zazzle.

I also got a really nice waterproof, water resistant jacket from Lands End yesterday, advertised as "packable" Very lightweight. Not that I think I will need a jacket on this cruise, but you never know about the rain.....

One of the main reasons I think that the aug repo has so many more posts is they have so many more dis'ers posting than we do. In the last few weeks we haven't done too bad. (must be the excitement)

Robin

Good Morning to All,

I ordered 2 Polo shirts from Zazzle with the button design on it. 4 inch on front (pocket) and 9inch on the back.

I should be getting them soon, and will let everyone know when I do. I'm crossing my fingers! The polo shirts were a bit more than the regular t shirts!

Georgie

Morning everyone! So glad it's Thursday! Since I haven't posted this list in a really long time, I thought I would put it up again to make sure I have everyone that wants to play tag on board.

For those of you who missed the description, we will have one (or two) Mickey shaped door magnets that will get passed around the ship. Each person who receives the magnet will sign it, then go "tag" another participant's cabin door! It's a lot of fun. I'm hoping we can get the Mickey to go around to everyone more than once since we have 14 days!

Not yet asleep. you're right, that would be incredible. The DIS Navigator. Complete with pictures and activities. Boy wouldn't that surprise DCL? It would be like a hard copy of Peters update to carry with us.
Bill Now, Night, Night

Okay, I hereby volunteer to make the Disboard Navigator for this cruise. Now, I'm not coming up with an original idea here, but credit goes to Mark and Mary from the 10 day Christmas Cruise who made the Navigator and delivered to everyone's "fish" for when they arrived at their stateroom door.

So, I think we had a couple of volunteers to deliver, so I will make up the navigator (for everything we have scheduled prior to the cruise), print, bring, and deliver to everyone. I will also bring extras for the sailaway party(ies) and all that good stuff.

What Mary did is post the Navigator before we left on her website and then people could print out if they wanted. I did, and it was handy.

So here's what it will list:

1. People's names; location and whether they are playing tag or not (unless I am stepping on someone's toes here and they are doing something different).

2. Each day and the schedule of disboard activities for that day

3. a place for notes on the back

4. Anything else that might be deemed unimportant or important.

Okay, there you go. I am no computer whiz, but I can handle this little job.

Linda

Anyone reading any good books about our ports of call?
We have read the book Cruising the Panama Canal, and loved it.
But we are looking for some more specifics on Acapulco and Cabo (so far we are havent booked excursions for those ports yet).
We have found LARGE books on each location, and on the Mexican Riviera but not much from a cruisers point of view.
Is the book or type of book I am looking out there? Maybe someone here wants to write a travel book? A DISers guide to Cruising Disney
(if you use my title I want compensation ;) )

MY BRAINSTORM OF THE DAY:

I wake up with these things in the middle of the night and can't go back to sleep. Disney on my Mind...............

I think that Hygiene99 (I think that is who is requesting the group photo) should also request a group photo to be taken on Pirate Night with all of us dressed up in our pirate clothing. Our family did this at 5:50 p.m. on pirate night and I had requested Captain Hook and Mr. Smee to come out 10 minutes early with Guest Services and they obliged. We had our group photo taken right in front of Lumiere's, all 13 of us and it is the best photo we have.

What do you think?

Oh, absolutely, let's do it! Ron (aka Limey Jim) hardly ever will wear a costume, but he's agreed to for this and that needs to be preserved for posterity!

Who is the author on Cursing the Panama Canal - might want to read it before we leave.

Bill

Georgie is a very talented DISer, and she came up with the logo in her signature. I have offered to make buttons for everyone, and I will be putting up a list, probably starting next week. Georgie and I will be handing them out at Sail-Away, as our gift to everyone.

Would anyone know if it is possible to walk from the ship to EL MERCADO CLIFF DIVERS ? If so..how far..thanks sharon

Linda, you are my hero! Thanks, as you said, the navigators that Mary and Mark did up for the 10-day were a lifesaver.

Bill: I'm hoping to get my order from zazzle with the button design. If it looks okay, I'll set it up on zazzle and let everyone know where it is.
Thanks for asking!

Brian: Let me know how you make out with the buttons... you can PM me. I appreciate all you've been doing!

Hope everyone is haveing a GREAT day :teeth: ...
