After reading my excursion confirmation, there are a few little tweaks on the schedule. The website is a bit different on a few than what is on the confirmation. Some for the better.


Castaway Cay Web: 9:30 am - 4:30 Confirmation: 8:15 am - 4:30
Curacao Web: 7:30 am - 4:30 Confirmation: Same
Panama Canal - Listed as 6 am (will that be entry?)
Acapulco Web: 9:30 - 7:30 Confirmation 10 am - 7:30
Mazatlan Web: 7:30 am - 5:00 Confirmation 8:00 am - 5:00
Cabo Web: 7:30 am - 3:30 Same

It also shows that I have the same stateroom.. no upgrade here

OK, all our excursions booked yesterday. Got confirmations on two. Had a problem getting the confirmations on the others because of computer glitch....hopefully will get them tomorrow.

So far we have booked:

Castaway Cay - Snorkeling with Scott
Curacao - 12:20 Spanish Water Snorkel Tour
Acapulco - 10:00 El Mercado & Cliff Divers
Mazatlan - 7:30 Deer Island Kayak Adventure
Cabo - 9:00 Santa Maria Sail & Snorkel

Acapulco - also wanted to do the Papagayo River Rafting Adventure. DCL said current water level way too low. americanwhitewater.org and cdc articles supported DCL's decision to wait and see...interesting reading.

Seaulater (Linda): I also asked why Shot Over Jet Boat Ride was available. DCL said boats only need a few inches of water in the river to glide on. Have heard its a wild ride.

I am happy to see that most of you are getting the excursions that you want.

Today is the day I am telling me family that we are booked on this cruise. It has been a long 9 months of secret keeping. I hope that my surprise is met with the enthusiasm of which I have dreamed. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Well we are all paid.Airtickets booked ,also hotels.Staying at Disneyland Hotel 5/28 for a couple of nights.Anyone else staying there.

One thing left is for DW to buy more cruise clothes.(nothing to wear syndrome)

To make sure we get our pins in time for the cruise, I will need to get the payment to Susan by 3/14 the latest. Ideally, we should have the order cut off on 2/14, which would give everyone 3 weeks to get the payment to me. We can extend that by a week, as I am padding this to leave no room for errors. I figure I need the payment by 3/7. Susan says she needs the payment by 3/14, and will order by 4/1, so we will have our pins by 4/29 (this leaves only a 2 week window for error) Once we cut off the orders, I will contact Susan with our total, and then she will get the pricing. I will PM everyone as well as post the price. Initially, I was going to just purchase them, and collect when I pass them out

I know this will come as a complete surprise to everyone, but one of my interests is improv comedy. Since DCL took the improv out of Off-Beat, it's up to us to bring improv back to the Magic. So, I'll be "hosting" some improv games on one of the at sea days TBD. Anyone interested? No experience necessary. It's just for fun. Audience members needed, too, but a minimum drink requirement may be imposed to enhance the comedic value of participants. Must be 18 or older to participate. Some restrictions may apply. NejTheLion = I was thinking about offering to put together a DVD of the cruise - collecting photos and possibly video footage from the cruisers afterwards, making some music videos, slideshows, etc. I'm in the process of desiging and putting up a website doing this, already having done quite a few for assorted family functions. Some folks are staying at 2 of the most stayed at resorts at the Port
Ron Jons and the Radisson, no official meets have been Set up as of yet but Look for folks all day around the pool area's also several others at the Airport hyatt and plans are in works.

Ducky definitely draws Ariel. I was talking to him one evening in the theater and he was specifically telling us about how he draws her so quickly, by drawing her with her hair over her chest so he doesn't have to draw so much of the detailed work, like her shells. Fascinating!

I know it's not likely, but am desperate enough to ask. Anyone with a catagory 4 on this cruise want to swap with us and go on the August repo cruise in a catagory 4 instead? I just found out that I am pregnant and will be about 7 1/2 months at the time of the August cruise, so it is now out of the question. I don't even know if Disney Cruise line will allow a strait switch, and I doubt there will be anyone who would be interested in switching, but like I said, I'm desperate enough to ask. Thanks for letting me invade your thread. I hope you all have a great holiday!
