Calico Jack's flag was resurrected by Hollywood for the movies "Cutthroat Island" and "Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl".

What's Going On...


Precruise Going on's


IMPORTANT...
To make sure we get our pins in time for the cruise, I will need to get the payment to Susan by 3/14 the latest. Ideally, we should have the order cut off on 2/14, which would give everyone 3 weeks to get the payment to me. We can extend that by a week, as I am padding this to leave no room for errors. I figure I need the payment by 3/7. Susan says she needs the payment by 3/14, and will order by 4/1, so we will have our pins by 4/29 (this leaves only a 2 week window for error) Once we cut off the orders, I will contact Susan with our total, and then she will get the pricing. I will PM everyone as well as post the price. Initially, I was going to just purchase them, and collect when I pass them out. But we have so many orders, which will amount to $900 or so, and I guess you can figure out why it will be pay first

Recap: Order cut off by 2/14 - 2/21
Payment to me by 3/7
Payment to Susan by 3/14
Susan will order and pay by 4/1
Pins delivered to me by 4/29

Also Some folks are staying at 2 of the most stayed at resorts at the Port
Ron Jons and the Radisson, no official meets have been Set up as of yet but Look for folks all day around the pool area's also several others at the Airport hyatt and plans are in works..

Dining Times,
I know that several people have linked there dining times
and have seen several people looking to fill tables for both early and late.
We however we like to take our chances Yikes on a 14 day cruise..
may rethink that.. it is a long time to be stuck with someone you may not be fond of... Pm me status of that and I will post..

Out of 7 cruises with DCL we have been lucky except for one and we feel dining is not just a time to eat food, these are like dinner shows !!
with something different going on each night... walked around going Man We have to dine with the GRISWALD'S Again.. Found ourselves going
Palo Would Be Great Again. Lets go Bug them.. And lets try Topsiders for Dinner.. There are some pretty unDisney educated people out there.. LOL
and yes it is fun to share tips with them..

This has been said on other cruises by DDW ..

Canal Party= All seas travel, is hosting a party in the Roy Suite the day of the Canal crossing . for its customers. You can do better than that.. LOL

Also We were lucky enough to sail on the Inaugural Western route.
they made big to do 's out of the Magic Stopping at there port
and We got Greated Very Warmly ... Bands, Music, and They gave you
stuff was great fun.. Dont forget to check the gift shop for those limited items...

I was just offered a cat three suite,port side. Big bucks. Should I take it ?
I have to decide tonight and let them know. Would it affect my interaction with the disers in the port( express boarding)?

Well, last cruise we had a couple of those. We just told them to tell DCL that the other 150 with them were their family!!!! Not a problem. We just know where the parties will be!

TAKE IT! You won't regret it and there are at least 2 other DIS'ers that will be in the same boarding area as you. You also aren't required to stay in that area the whole time, visit away!

Cat 3 is VERY NICE!!! :cheer2:

Take it! You won't be far from us, trust me. We'll be all the loud, friendly people at the very front of the boarding line right next to where you queue up to board. We can chat all you want until you get to board...and then we'll be boarding right behind you!

Okay, I hereby volunteer to link main dining reservations. Here's the deal:

1. PM me with your names, stateroom number and reservation number.
2. Cut-off date for requests-February 28, 2005 at 5 p.m. MST.
3. I will fax request to DCL asking that our whole "family" be linked.

I don't mind doing this at all, I just know it became a nightmare on the Christmas thread because the person doing it was calling DCL on a daily basis linking more reservations together. So, if we stick to this plan, it is not very time consuming and I can get this together no problem.

EXCEPTIONS: (We've always got to have those!)

1. If you are wait listed for the main dining you will probably not know by February 28 that you have been put on main. However, please check on the 28th with DCL just in case your waitlist has come through.

2. Once your waitlist has come through (even after the February 28 date), PM me and I will call DCL and get you linked with the group.

Any questions, send me off a PM and I'll respond. Remember I need your confirmation number!

FYI-Ken and Shari and Alex and Carolyn, we are already linked together with my parents for one table. I've requested APL rotation.
