Good for you guys, We have a Cat 3 for teh Members Cruise and I put us on the list for a Cat 3 for this cruise, we will see. Didn't tell Lynn so it might, doubt it, a surprise. Well off to teh airport. Will check in tonight.

We are actually shipping a box to the ship in advance of our arrival this will all be stuff for the parties and giveaways and things that we will use and finish before the ship docks in LA. We will likely ship home a box via UPS ( great to have a company account) when we get to LA. I would never try and send home our wonderful gifts and purchases in unlocked luggage.

Guess I better go get the lab warmed up for the day... Tech's will be here soon..

Boy, it's already a busy morning. Must be Friday, got to get our priorities out of the way.

I was thinking of maybe a hula skirt for tropicalifragilistic night. Thought it might be kinda fun to dress up me and DH in hula skirts. Anyone else up for the challenge? Not sure about the coconuts though. DH would probably get kicked out of the dining room!!!

Oh, then there's 70's night. Our DD dance group is doing a 70's section in their show this summer. I was going to ask dance studio if I could borrow an afro wig for DH and the purple hair for me! Love my DD's dress, but just don't think I can fit into it! Maybe another sewing project is on the way. At least I'm not making another 13 pirate outfits!

No, but I do have two pairs of ladies shiney patent leather lace-up platform heel dress tennies... one pair in black and white and one pair in burgundy and white. Very 70's and very retro...Never worn. Trade, anyone?

I'm going to be staying at a Disney Good Neighbor resort for 10 days after the cruise and there's one thing I want to do while I'm there...Go see The Price Is Right...This is a sign-up list for anyone who wants to go as a group. I might've spoke a bit too soon. Price and co. still up in the air - might be more like between $2-3. I have to get the 'original' art sent to them and was told by one co. that it'll have to be a 4" patch versus the 3" I requested (due to amount of detail). And I have to lower the amount of different colors from 12 to 7. Still in progress - I'm determined to make this work!!

We were on the Y2K cruise, and EVERYONE (including kids) dressed up in tuxedos, which we rented in advance from Disney. They appeared in our staterooms and it was great not having to fuss with them - they also took them away when we were done with them. On future cruises, perhaps only a handful of men were in tuxes. So, you can go either way.

Hi Everyone

I just called the DCL Spicial Services Desk and asked when we could start booking excursions. The DCL person, Lynn, said that we could start booking on February 23rd. I asked why that didn't match up with the "90 days before the cruise" rule and she gave me a lame excuse about it being a "one time only" cruise (the westbound repo) and the excursions wouldn't be in the computer until Feb 23.

Now, having been through the 10 day Xmas cruise excursion booking disaster (they weren't really ready to book excursions on the 90th day for that cruise either, but they made it work), I wouldn't trust the first answer DCL gives out. So, if someone else would like to call and see what answer they get - go for it. The DCL number on the excursion request form is 1-877-566-0968. I'm going to call again later and try to get another rep on the line.

I just spoke to Chloe at DCL... she said that they will be available on February 13. I questioned that.. said that a friend was told Feb 23... and she said OH NO! IT says right here on our list that that cruise will be available on Sunday.

So again, it pays to call again

Like as before on the Christmas Cruise, if the first person you call tells you no, then ask to speak to their supervisor. They then "put me on hold", asked their supervisor, and then came back and said they could book them (and we weren't even paid in full!)

I called yesterday and they told me we could book excursions on Sunday so that is what I'm going to do...the only bad thing is that I am on the west coast so I will be getting up at 6am to make my ressies. Do I love Disney or what

What could be an even better vacation than 14 days on the Disney Magic, going through the Panama Canal, then 3 days at Disneyland but to maybe be able to add Bob Barker & the Price is Right!!!!!!!

Lynda & Cash (see can't forget Cash), my Mom & I would love to go to the Price is Right but we are only in California for 3 days after our cruise. We leave to come home on Tuesday May 31. So if they tape on Monday May 30 - we'll be there!!!!!! We could make really cool t-shirts to catch Bob'a attention!!!! or have everyone wear Mickey Ears....the possibilities are endless!!!!!

I'd love to hear Elaine C.....Come on Down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I'd just have to brush up on American prices!!!!)
