We are on the Cruise booked last May ,only looked up the website and found the thread yesterday.Myself and DW karen.
We are in stateroom (6632) neighbours to Jeff and Jen .

Bob and Lee We are also be at the embassy suites Orlando on Friday 13th May.

We are from London in England and long time members of DVC (old Key West resort).Cruised before on 4day and 7 day Western carribean

Georgie, one of the moderators who is on this cruise Brisully I think said he had a button machine. I just love Mickey and Minnie in the center looking at the ship

Happy Saturday Evening! Put us down for 6 pins.

Now, I think there is a price break on pins. When we usually order for Girl Scouts there is a break at 250 and then 500.

I was thinking maybe I should buy an extra 100 or so and then sell on the ship to those Non Disboard guests who will be begging us for them. I was thinking double the price we pay oughta cover it. Maybe I could start making some money to go towards the cruise instead of everything I'm spending?

Oh, and with that....I'm headed to the scrapbook store. THey've got Mickey stuff on sale!!!

Like I need more stuff my DH would say...............yeah right!

Hi Everyone!

After many trials, I figured out how to get my design into a JPEG format. I should edit it again to get it a bit smaller... but I wanted to get it up and running! Here is what I came up with for a button for the East-West Panama Canal Cruise. It's a take off on our door magnet from Kingdom to Kingdom.

Just reading the comment about copyright. I think that we can't use Disney characters in our pins. When we were on the Christmas Cruise, one of our fellow dis'ers wifes designs pins. They gave us a couple. He said that they were unable to use Disney characters, just for that reason. They designed a pin with a fairy that resemble Tinkerbell, but changed it enough so it wasn't.

Anyway, that might pose a problem with Mickey and Minnie in the picture, but the pin company will know that up front, so maybe the eastbounders already know the answer

Actually, there are conventions, scrapbook cruises, and all other kinds of stuff. What we do with our own money between each other is our business, as far as I am concerned.

Actually, add another two pins to my order for a total of 8. I'll give one to each of our servers. Oh wait, then there is my stateroom host(ess) and others. Okay, I probably need at least 12 before I start selling the others!

Guys...

Glad you like the design... but, seaulater is right... copyrighting would be a problem with my design for the pin... especially if $ are exchanged. Let's still see if the pin design comes through by Susan's DH... I know it will be great.

I was thinking of the circular design as a button. Someone mentioned they could get their hands on a button machine... Would we still have problems with using the back of M+M heads for a button??? I don't know. But if it causes a problem, by all means, let's not go there.

The last thing we would need is to get everyone on board with a design and to have it turned away due to copywrite laws.

For now, a list is being made for PINS... the pin which is yet-to-be-designed by Susan's DH.

BUTTONS are another story... I don't have a button machine. I've only designed the picture. As I wrote earlier, I will try for another button design.

Instead of Bringing Home the Magic...we could do on the left side Kingdom
top....TO......right side.....Kingdom

Then replace Eastbound with Westbound and change something to say FIRST.

I like that design and it wouldn't infringe on Disney in anyway, since we could get a cease and desist letter from their attorney. Would hate for that to happen.

Brusily (Sorry if I spelled that wrong) offered up to do the buttons a 100 pages ago (somewhere, anyway). He has a button machine. I don't know if he has done anything with a design yet.
