On the 10 day Christmas Cruise, not only were they diligent on deducting my points, they were also very prompt in charging my credit card for DD cruise since we paid cash for her. Nothing like giving them 100% of the money 11 months in advance!

As for everything else................slower than Eeyore. Never got shore excursion book (thank goodness for the boards!) and the only thing we received from them prior to getting cruise documents was the confirmation letter. In fact, when everyone on the Christmas thread was bragging and doing the document dance, we were still waiting. We were one of the last ones to receive our documents.

Anyone, don't set the expectations too high, then you won't be disappointed!

Good morning everyone. Today is our anniversary- 34 years. The secret must be all the Disney cruises we take.

We have used the spacesaver bags before and because things are so compacted down you have to watch out for the weight of the luugage if you are flying. We are gathering and shopping for the cruise. Can't come soon enough! Alex

Thanks, Kay, for posting that list! I read somewhere (but I can't remember where) another thing to bring is stick on Velcro to use on the closet doors. I had to buy a whole roll once and used only a few inches, so I'll bring it and will share if anyone wants some.

Do you actually stick it on the closet? Wouldn't it pull off the finish? I can see using it on the curtains, but I'd be afraid of damaging something. On our first cruise, we had one closet door that would NOT stay closed, but we just rearranged the suitcase to keep it closed. I first tried putting a shoe in so it wouldn't slam shut, but the light stayed on so we had to improvise yet again.
Last 3 cruises, the doors stayed shut on their own, thank goodness.

I know this will come as a complete surprise to everyone, but one of my interests is improv comedy. Since DCL took the improv out of Off-Beat, it's up to us to bring improv back to the Magic. So, I'll be "hosting" some improv games on one of the at sea days TBD. Anyone interested? No experience necessary. It's just for fun. Audience members needed.

I will make up the navigator (for everything we have scheduled prior to the cruise), print, bring, and deliver to everyone. I will also bring extras for the sailaway party(ies).
What has been done in the past is that the Navigator was posted, before we left on a website and then people could print out if they wanted.

KaraEric = Rotary Club, Calling all Rotary Club Members! My father is in Rotary and mentioned the other day that he will be missing three weeks worth of meetings for this trip. Still Feel That DISNEY CRUISE LINE : Will alter the Route.

Some folks are staying at 2 of the most stayed at resorts at the Port
Ron Jons and the Radisson, no official meets have been Set up as of yet but Look for folks all day around the pool area's also several others at the Airport hyatt and plans are in works.

Attire, = There will be two (2) formal and two (2) semi formal evenings. There will be one (1) pirate(1)tropical nights. I guess that leaves nine (9) "cruise casual" nights were jeans are allowed in the dining rooms (don't even get me started!)

Food = There are plans to introduce new lunch and dinner menus so that no menu will be repeated during the course of the sailing.
Entertainment = A new production show to be offered. She didn't have any specifics other than that.

Donald Ducky Williams, will be onboard and we will recieve 2 Lithographs
1 for going on the cruise and one for going thru the canal.
This has been said on other cruises by DDW .

Canal Party = All seas travel, is hosting a party in the Roy Suite the day of the Canal crossing . for its customers. You can do better than that..
Return Cruisers Gift = It is rumored that there is a new gift not a beach towel as on past Cruise's.

Vodka. Or (don't laugh) whiskey. The lemon lime Airborne tastes a bit like sour mix. So if I mix the Airborne with whiskey or amaretto, I'd get a whiskey sour (mmmmm) or amaretto sour.

Just think, I can stay healthy and get drunk at the same time!

Looks like the Outrageously Outta sight Orange beat the arrival of the lacking lime flavor. Our box of Airborne arrived on Wednesday... all 7 bottles.

Let's hope all of us are healthy for this great cruise! The time is quickly approaching!
