20050511-Epcot DIS Meet-May 11, 4pm, Canada!

Hey everyone! Come and meet your fellow DISers! Please post on this thread if you're interested.

We are having the meet in Epcot near the Off Kilter stage in Canada, on Wednesday, May 11th at 4pm!! Off Kilter is scheduled to play from 3:30-4pm that day, and many of us will arrive by 3:30 and watch the show first.

**Please Note: If it rains, we will STILL meet near the stage in Canada. But after we all gather there, we will decide if we need to get indoors, then proceed to The Land Pavilion. We will have the meet there, on the ground level. So if you arrive to Canada and we are not there, then you know you'll find us in The Land! Just go in the doors of The Land, turn left, and go down the escalators. You shouldn't miss our group.

I'll be there along with my dh and our 3 boys who are 5, 3 and 1. I love the DISBoards and would love to meet some of my fellow WDW fans! I had hoped to meet a DISer on our February trip, but I never saw any.

The meet can be as short or as long as you want it to be. Stop by for 5 minutes and say hello, or plan to grab a snack or drink and chat for awhile.

Ok, I'm going to spread the word around, and hopefully we can get a few more DISers to join the meet! (We've got a great group forming-YAY!)

Woo hoo! I will be there. I can't believe it - I've never made it to a DIS meet, and this trip I'll actually get to go to one!! I'll be at the 3:30 Off Kilter show too.

I can't wait to meet everyone!

I will also try and be there with my husband and 3 boys...7,5 and 9 months. We always try and go back to the room for awhile in the afternoon, so we will try our best and get there in time to meet.

If not just look for a mom surrounded by 3 blond hair blue eyed boys and my lime green ribbon tried around the handle of my stoller sometime that whole week.

When we took a 7 night cruise 2 yrs ago we had a wonderful Dis meet the night before the cruise and then several more times on the ship. We also organized a wine tasting party and was luckly enough to have it in the Walt Disney Suite....Wow what a gorgeous suite. It is always so much fun to put a face to a name

I'll have to think about it---we might try to brave it on 5-5 just to see if anything special is going on that day .

Kathe~Yep, we'll be at POFQ May 11-16! Maybe we'll see you around the resort too!! I wish we could all have access to the internet while we're down there...we could find out which rooms we're in and try to meet up. I am going to try to get us the same room or area that we had in February...on the 3rd floor of bldg #6, facing the courtyard, down near the elevators...

I'll sure try to stop by. Planing to get ds back in the afternoon for a nap so we can enjoy dinner and some night time fun. Hmmm..just checked ..we have a ps at 50pt that night for 5:30..just might work!!
