2005 packages

When are you able to book a 2005 package? I tried to book on waltdisneyworld.com and was told I couldn't book one for June 2005. Does anyone know when I will be able to get a quote for my vacation planned for early June 2005? Thanks!

I think you can call and get a 2005 package right now. I did. I tried on line but they haven't loaded those yet. Just call and ask, they'll be happy to take your deposit!

Thanks! Since we've never booked a package before (I usually piece it together myself at the last minute) how much of a deposit is required for the entire package?

I had to pay $400 b/c we split our stay, but if you are only at one hotel the deposit is $200 for a package or one nights stay for room only. Just don't use a debit card!!

I have already booked a package for December 2005. I made them with Dreams Unlimited. They make it really easy. My TA's name is Sandy. The only drawback is that it is sooo far away!!

O.K., I have to ask, why not a debit card? We only carry one credit card, it is a VISA credit/debit card linked to our checking account, so you have me very curious.

I want to know about the debit card thing too... I used it to make my room deposit.

I used my debit last week and I *think* I know what she is talking about. Some banks only allow a certain amount to be withdrawn a day. My limit was $1000 a day. My vacation package cost $4000. So, in order to pay for it I had to call four days straight and pay a 1000 a day. Paying with a debit takes more calls and more time but still not bad b/c that was the only issue I had with it.

I honestly didn't mind calling Disney four days in a row. Not as long as we get to go!
