2005 December Holiday Crowds

Hello - looking for advice on when the big holiday crowds will arrive at DW in December 2005. This year I'm not sure what to expect, since Christmas falls on a Saturday. In 2003 we had a great time with almost no crowds visiting from approx. the 17th - 22nd. In 2005 we are considering arriving on Friday, 12/16 and leaving on 12/22. I'm wondering with Christmas being a Saturday, if the parks will get crazy from Sat., 12/17 all that week or if the big crowds will arrive closer to Christmas? Any advice appreciated. Thanks!

Funny....we were at WDW in December of 2003 and thought that the crowds were too much far out of our comfort zone starting on 12/19, which was the Friday before Christmas. With Christmas falling on a Sunday this year, I have no idea what we are in for. We are visiting from the 12/11 to 12/17. I expect that Friday the 16th will be a busy day. Maggie

Well I guess it's all relative anyway. I guess I will plan for the rest and be pleasantly surprised if the crowds are moderate.

Well actually it is only really busy 1 week before christmas to new years. But before that is is usually prety slow. We always go at te beginning of December and it is like a ghost town for disney. There are no lines and the pools are usually not that packed. I hope that I have given u good advice. Have a good time
