2005 ? any guesses

Anybody have any guesses when 2005 will be opened up ? I've heard either September or October. Based on past history is there any trend ?

Wer'e tyring to organize a group for a January 2005 western cruise.

I am curious as well since we are not looking for a cruise until 2005. Hopefully there will be a decent discount for booking early!

What are the differences between the Wonder and the Magic?

When we were on the cruise in August, Donna the booking lady told us that they would open up 2005 in October.

Since they usually open up the booking dates about 15 - 16 months ahead, October sounds about right.

As for the differences between the two ships...... other than a couple of the restaurants named differently and the statues in the lobbies being different (Ariel on the Wonder, Mickey on the Magic), there really aren't many differences. The biggest difference is that the Magic does the 7 day itineraries and the Wonder does the 3 and 4 day.

I called disney.com last week regarding my Castaway membership and our conversation veered into that topic. She says October is when they'll probably open the 2005 schedule. We're planning a Magic cruise around that time (Wonder was too short) since our 2004 vacation is already slated for Hawaii (although they've said they want to do DCL again). Cindala, Wonder is 3-4 night cruise, while Magic is the 7 night.
