2005 AAA rates available

I just called and was able to apply the AAA rate to my January 2005 reservation. My reservation at Pop Century went from $85 a night w/tax to $68 a night with tax! Yeah !

Got it !!!!! YEAH! My AKL Concierge went down.

Yeah!!!! Got "AAA" applied to both my April 2005 ressies.

ASMo (preferred room) 1st week $121 to $102/night (Peak)

ASMo (preferred room) 2nd week $111 to $94/night (Regular)

Could not stand to thought of paying rack rates, now I feel much better.

Total "AAA" savings $246.33.

Just wondering if you would be willing to share what rate you were able to get on the AKL Concierge? I have a regular savanna view room booked at $265.33 a night inc taxes with a AAA discount. We have stayed concierge the last two wintes with AP rates of $277 a night inc tax so hoping to get close to that price again.

Hi,
I reserved 3 rooms at Coronado last week for
Jan. 29th- Feb.6th, 2005.
I was told AAA rates were not out yet for 2005 ,
to try back in Sept. and AP rates probably
wouldn't be out till sometime in Oct. for Jan./Feb.

I saw that some of you had gotten AAA for next year,
so I tried calling this morning for AAA rates to be applied.
I was told they only had up to Dec.

Do different resorts get them at different times?
Has anyone gotten them for next year at CSR yet?

I've never applied AAA before, just AP,and I thought
the rates came out for all resorts at the same time.

Just wondering If I should try back later today and ask another CM to look again or wait a few more weeks?

WE are taking two of our Sons/DIL's and our two Grandsons' for their FIRST TRIP to "Mickeys' House".

We are so excited, but I reaalllly need these discounts this time, LOL
(Rack rate at Moderates during "Value" season is $149.41 w/tax per room)
I 'd rather spend my money indulging the kids than on the rooms

Any opinions, advice greatly appreciated.

Keep calling!!! It took me 3 tries to get a CM who found the AAA discount. I was able to get a LV at the GF. My first choice was a GV, but atleast the discount got me the LV for the GV rack rate. Now just hoping for that AP discount!!!
