GMT is Greenich Mean Time. Pacific time is GMT -8 hrs. GMT is the world standard time.

No, there's no reason you should care, really.

Matt

Christy: Have not said hi to you in a few days. Hope all is well you guys. We are counting the days until hawaii. Getting closer!

Matt

I forgot to say, have sweet dreams. 391 days and counting. We are getting closer.

Matt
Felt like posting to help the count get higher.

292, not 391 that would be bad if it was that long.

Goodnight,
Matt
P.S: yes I know you can edit but I am trying to be on top of the next page!:bounce:

Gail, we go up to Vancouver often. We usually stay at the Pacific Palisades hotel, right off Robson St. and across the street from this great Crepe restaurant...I highly recommend both!

Good Morning. Happy Monday everyone.

Dee, Thanks for the info. Do you remenber the name of the Crepe restaurant? We put a hold on three hotels. The Fairmont Waterfront through the cruise line, Pan Pacific and the Pacific Palisades. I have been reading mixed reviews about the Pacific. Some of the reviews I have read have stated that the hotel needs to be renovated, run down and the staff are not that friendly?? I than read some awesome reviews of the hotel. I read it is a great location. I thought it was on Robson Street? I read the shopping is awesome. I also read the restaurants and nightclubs are great. I hope to find a nice jazz club. I need to start saving for this trip. We are so excitied about going. DD wants to stay home with all the grandparents but I know once she gets there she would love all the children's activities in Vancouver and the cruise to Alaska. We had booked the Palisades as it was the best price and a one bedroom suite with C. breakfast. I found the Hotel throgh Vancouver's website.

Mary, Thanks so much for adding Emily. I will e mail you today.

2BellsMom, Emily will E mail your daughter today or tomorrow.

Have a great day everyone. Talk to you all later. Fondly, Gail1771

DUH....figured the clock thing out all by myself....I am on YOUR time. PST. But I'm not really, right now. It's 10:50 something here. We don't do daylight savings time.

Stacey - sent you a pm about the newseltter. Not sure why you aren't getting it but I send a link.

As for the time set. You can ajdust that yourself. Click the link at the top of the page that says USER CP and then click on the tab that says edit options. The 4th green bar down says date and time options and there is a pull down menu that lets you select your zone. Hope that helps.

Wow you sure were all busy last night :D

I'm afraid some pirate: is going to swipe 3000 from me while I sleep.

Well off to check the rest of the boards before work!

Have a great day everyone.

Well..... This pirate: is working 7a-3p today.... Mondays tend to be our worst day.... So I doubt I'll be posting much.... definitely won't be able to keep track of where we are.....

and I really wouldn't intentionally steal 3000 from you Mary...

Hope that everyone has a great start to the week!

Over 3 pages to read this morning. Busy, busy fingers last night.

It's supposed to be :sunny: and 64 today :Pinkbounc

I think I need to check our post count now.

WOW, this is #2834.

Virgil I hope you day isn't too bad.

Good Morning!!!

Thank you, Mary!!!!!! :) :Pinkbounc That worked!
I thought at first that maybe my screen was too small, but it's 17 inch. I also tried just by using monorail green. Also tried doing a direct link, typing it in the way the other months are...but it's not the same.
Anyway....thank you very much!

I will NOT take your 3000. Hopefully, we'll all remember and just sit and stare at the thread until you post!

:p

Have a great day everyone!

Stacey

Being up early paid off Stacey - you got top of hte page back!!!

Boy oh boy!! Busy fingers here! Took me about 40 minutes to scan through all the posts. My weekends are usually way to busy to post so I'm glad all of you can keep our numbers up.

DS survived his Boy Scout campout. Took a snowball in the mouth though so he has a fat lip. I think he had a good time, but DH says that some of the older boys teased him. I asked an adult leader that we know and he said Casey did fine until he got too cold and took the face shot all at the same time. Even then, he just asked to go inside and get warm. Other than leaving all his possession scattered around, that was the only problem they saw, and he did pick up his stuff, he just had to be told to do it (bad mom, since it's usually easier to just pick it up than have him do it!)

DD and I did a duet for our church music night last evening that went very well. I got lots of compliments on how well she did. She was pretty serious, but didn't seem nervous. Proud moment!

DH and I saw Passion of the Christ on Saturday morning with the church group. Man, was it intense! It was one of those movies that will live with you the rest of your life. And imo, I don't think any child under 16 should go to see it unless their parents have pre-screened it. I know my DD at almost 12 could absolutely never handle the violence in the movie. It was the quietest theater exit I've ever experienced.

Sounds like chat ended early on Friday. I hung in for about 1/2 hour, but my head cold really wiped me out. I went to bed before 10, and slept through until 8, and that was after a 2 hour nap Friday afternoon!

Off to read the newsletter. Have a great day everyone! Lisa

Okay, I'll talk to myself this time. I was just reading the cruise reports page, and there are nice reports there on a back to back set of cruises by Annie12345. She was on the cruise with karyn and Randy 1/31, and they apparently booked the Christmas cruise while on board. I invited her to drop on over and say hi, but you all might take a look at her reports. They are very nice.

WELL Doc I'm working today too????? mine is overtime need to pay for my trip latter this month.
