Hi all! I also joined WISH at the beginning of the year. It's a nice place to stop by. I can't do WISH chat, because we're busy Mondays with Cub Scouts. Besides, staying up til 10 on a work night is too much for me!!

Karyn, sounds like you are really rocking with the packing stuff. Great job! We've made many moves in our lives, and I've always been glad that I don't have hardly any nice dishes, since I'd have been worried about them breaking.

I'm just really impressed at how well we've kept this thread going. We're still ahead of the folks that are leaving the end of this month!

I noticed that we are ahead of those folks too, BUT they are catching up!!!

If 'Mr. 10,000' would post each day that would help to keep this thread moving along.

Very competitive group over there at the other thread.

We know we're the best and we have a long time until we sail. Long after their cruise is just a memory we'll be gaining excitement! Post always get another big burst as they get close as those who have other plans finally start joining in.

jilljill - you are right - every thread has its growth spurts.

I like the fact that we have a nice steady pace with some occasional spurts thrown in. I'm sure as we get closer to those magic numbers and closer to the cruise we'll see even more surges.

Gail you are more than welcome! I haven't been posting over at WISH as much as I should, but I read every day and post in the check-in thread each week. You'll find that it is a wonderful supportive group!

That other thread has pulled way ahead. Guess they must not have much to do during the day. Me, I'm busy working so I can pay for our cruise.

gaRry and Virgil on the other hand must not be working as I think they post more from work (when it is quiet that is).

It was snowing again on my way home tonight and I thought the same thing - wish I was somewhere warm. Spring will be here before we know it!

I think you are right - I think gaRry and Virgil are working on thier "honey-do" lists. Or knowing gaRry - he went down to Florida to check and see how the ship is doing .

Virgil on the other hand is laying low and just waiting for #2000.

I'm a lurker from the 1/31 Western group, and with any luck I'll be on this thread as a 12/18 cruiser at some point. Not yet though, so I haven't joined in. Stop over and say Hi to us if you like. We are all DCL fans after all!

Isn't this fun? I can imagine that you will have some pretty fast freindships when the 12/18 cruise rolls around.
