How about the top of a new page????

I bought myself flowers today, just for that!

:hyper:

Maybe I didn't buy ENOUGH flowers!!!!

:yo-yo:

I bet you all are hoping I take Prozac or something like that while we're on the cruise.

Wait till we get to November.

You'll have to figure out a way to block my posts!!!!

Did anyone notice we are at almost 30,000 views for this thread?!?

Is it my imagination, or did our countdown timers disappear again??

Can we say the word CRUISE???

I hope that's not starting again.

:(

:(

:(

Does it look like I want the top of a page again? Naaah.

Stacey, don't take Prozac, just drink lots and lots of good corked wine!!!!! Just stay away from MY desserts. I will do anything to protect MY desserts, unless you are willing to share yours too.

Must have been my imagination. I could be an imagineer.

Must be what happens when you haven't cooked for so long, and you stand over a stove....

jilljill,
Of course, you are right!! I forgot about the WINE!! (Must be the cooking)
I LOVE to share desserts....that way, you can try a bunch and not look like such a piggy.

Looks like I might have found me a new dessert buddy, since my usual cruise dessert buddy w on't be going :Pinkbounc ::yes:: :Pinkbounc

Sounds like a deal to me. DH is no fun....he only likes vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. He didn't even like the chocolate dessert at Palo...what do they call it? The one with the cake and the hot chocolate sauce inside?

YOu don't mean the souffle do you?!? Mine really only likes cheesecake. I love the creme brulee and the cherries jubilee are always good. Then I'm us for trying just about anything - as long as it doesn't have bananas, nope no bananas!!!

I just thought of something.....I'm on the cruise, I've got my wine....if I get stupid (and I don't need the wine for that)....and someone says I've flipped my CORK....it will be TRUE!!!!

:upsidedow :upsidedow :upsidedow :upsidedow :upsidedow

Have I mentioned that I was the youngest child in my family, the only girl, and the boys wouldn't let me tag along with them, so I had to amuse myself????

YES...the souffle! I would just about kill for that! And I love creme brulee, and cherries jubilee. I almost always order creme brulee when we're out...I am on a mission for the world's best.

I must admit though, I like Bananas Foster. Sorry. I won't make you share it with me.

I think the fumes or the heat from the stove have gotten to you tonight, Stacey. At least you are using your stove, I haven't used ours since way before our trip. DH did use ours tonight while I was at work. I figure if it doesn't get used it doesn't need to be cleaned ::yes::

But then, the Wonder didn't have bananas foster....
Do you think the Magic does?

I can't imagine a restaurant like Lumiere's NOT having Bananas Foster....and it's not like bananas are in short supply down there.

:)

MAYBE I am cooking with wine! :p

I just realized why they don't have Bananas Foster....it's a flaming thing....

But don't they do Baked Alaska?

But, they don't light the Baked Alaska at the tables.

Oh well.....I won't lose sleep on it.

Speaking of creme brulee, I had a very good chocolate creme brulee at Fulton's (DTD) in December. But then last month I had the world's best chocolate creme brulee at a local restaurant in town - it was to die for!!!
The grand marnier souffle on the ship is good too - I haven't been to Palo to try their chocolate souffle. That is my mission on this cruise to get chocolate souffle at least once. I have made it before - it turned out rather good.

They have bananas foster in Parrot Cay. We even had it on the Wonder in 2000, at least my parents did. Don't forget cherries jubilee is also a flaming dessert and that is served in Lumiere's.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!

I just re-read my last post, and it DOES sound like I am carrying on a conversation with myself.

I am sooo sorry! I feel like a dope.

The best creme brulee I've had so far was at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas....they brought out 3 flavors, the usual vanilla, raspberry and blueberry...and they were amazing!
