We are heading for DL Friday. We will be at the park Monday, Tues and Wed. Taking the kids/grandkids with us. We are all very excited!

Angie - hope you and Dennis have a great time! We leave for WDW on Saturday! So we have Disney covered coast to coast!

Hi everyone!! Long time no post, everything has been very busy around here.

I promised Stacey I would let everyone know they are no longer in the direct path of the fires, They were close to the fires but the fires have not turned and are headed in a different direction. Stacey, Jay and the kids are in Vegas for the weekend. Trying to relax and be thankful.

We had a great time! It was hot and crowded but still wonderful. Had a post-cruise, pre-cruise meet with 3/4 of the Scuba's (Matt is in Costa Rica). Also had a couple of pre-cruise meets for our DVC Member Cruise.

The new castle decorations are wonderful and i can't wait to see what they did out in Disneyland.

Is anyone by any chance going to WDW between 8/24 and 9/3? Mean person that I am, I'm leaving the boys at home and going solo (it's a long story, which in part involves our having to cancel the Panama Canal cruise on the Magic going from LA back to FL... )

Anyway, if anyone is around...let me know!

Also, I'm doing the 3-day walk to fight breast cancer. Anyone interested in donating to a good cause, PM me, I'll give you details!

Hi Dee! Mark and I will be in WDW 9/3. We are driving down and get in late on the 2nd. You are DVC right? If so did you know there is a DVC party the night of the 3rd? It is a bon voyage party for the Member Cruise, but all DVC members are welcome. It is open from 4-6pm at Pleasure Island.

Mark and I need to meet up with another DISer from our May cruise to do a mascot exchange - not sure when/where that is happening. Our goal is to try and go to Epcot to do Soarin'. We would love to meet up with you if we can work it in.

Mary, right now I'm scheduled to fly back at 3PM...I would LOVE to meet you guys, so if we can meet in the morning that would rock...I hope it works out. At any rate, I wish you a great DVC cruise! Wish I were going...originally, we were supposed to do the LA-to-FL repo cruise on the magic so I misssed my chance to book the DVC cruise once our plans changed

Oh well, I'll have a great time at WDW -- and I hope we can meet!

Hi guys. I'm still here too. Things have been not so fun in my life.

DH and I are separated. Long long story, but we lost the house we were building because he wouldn't stop picking on the builder. And when they threatened to sue us, he still wouldn't stop. Many people asked him if the house was more important to him than his family, and even though he said no, he still wouldn't back off the fight. So he ended up losing his family.

So any prayers/pixie dust out there would be greatly appreciated. It wasn't an easy decision, but a friend of mine helped me a lot. She asked me what this was doing to my kids, and that is truly the bottom line. I'm not saying that we're definitely ending the marriage, but I am requiring real, no-kidding changes in priorities. If he can't put the kids and me in front of his need to "win" at all costs, then divorce it will be.

Anyway, not to belabor the point. I sure hope everyone else is doing well. I was thinking of Leslie and Joe on their 14 day cruise. Did anyone see a report from them??

Dee - I'm sure we can set something up for the morning. Will you be able to get in a park that day? If so maybe we can meet at Epcot (we want to do Soarin'). If not how about meeting for breakfast or lunch. Let us know what works best for you.

Lisa - I'm sure you are doing what is right for you and your family. Hopefully it will all work out. I miss seeing you in Friday night chat. Hope you stop in sometime soon and join us. Even if you don't have a cruise scheduled you still have lots of great info to share.
