afff said:Hi Sue....its a Jayco 23 foot expandable.
Full fridge and freezer, stove , oven, microwave, Air Conditioning, hot water, toilet etc. ( I know some people would say thats not camping )
I did have a tent trailer but it became a pain putting it up and down by myself ( no help from children ) especially when it rained. Had to put it back up again in the driveway to unpack and dry it off.
The new one is a full size travel trailer ( the bed ends are still similar to a tent trailer which fold down)...... I'll pack up the food in the fridge and the clothes in the closet before we go.
PRESTO.........everything is pretty much done and ready to go when you get there.
Sandy was never much of a camper, she is more of a Cottage person.
Now she has a cottage on wheels...........

dobelover said:I can''t remember if the Jayco is a hard sided slideout or the soft sided? I was looking at a 20' with soft sides. I have the Toyota minivan so I must go light. I am still wonderingwhy I got rid of my 10 cyclinder Excursion
. ( Jeanne and Jesse couldn't get in or out)

How can be so cruel???scuba diver said:Sharon thinks we are going camping this weekend. Since we are staying at a Marriott and not on DCL we are going camping. Anything short of DCL is camping, in her mind!
seaulater said:Sharon/Jim-someone on our PC thread wants to know what time the porters start taking luggage. Do they start up as soon as they are down with those poor passengers departing the ship? About what time? I figured since you set up camp for days, weeks and months ahead of time, you were the best to answer this little question.
Thanks!
Linda
Pretty normal for classes. One gal had ear problems Saturday, finished the dives but bailed on Sunday's dives. Must have had something to do with the weather. It was cold, cloudy and snowy. You know that the air is cold when there is steam coming off the dive water and it's at 62°!! I told them (students) look! It's a hot tub!! They didn't buy it.scuba diver said:Kevin, how did the diving go over the weekend?

Other than the weather it went fine!! Set up a tarp around the picnic table shelter and had the propane heater going. It was quite nice actually! I say that wearing a drysuit......![]()
You can tell Red come on up and dive here in the middle of January and then "let's talk"!!! (I'd be wearing a wetsuit in Florida too!!)scuba diver said:Red believes that the instructor should wear the same setup as the student. They get better training that way as they can watch how you handle situations. So I assume all the students were diving drysuits?![]()
