Popping in for a quick hello. No shot, Diana.

The doctor said I was really lucky...says cat bites can be nasty, and thinks the only reason I didn't get an infection is probably because I had just been on antibiotics. He did say to tell the shelter to watch the cat for 10 days. oh boy.

Mom is doing great.....thank goodness...complaining that she needs her hair washed. A very good sign.

Out of here for now......maybe I'll open that Banfi that I kept forgetting to bring home. Jay brought it home to me tonight. Such a guy!

TTFN,
Stacey

You tell me your favorite, Peanut butter? M&M? Snickerdoodle? Oatmeal? Chocolate chip?

Yep those would be our favorite, and those, and those

The Banfi is now in the refrig. I just have to find the time to cook for the dinner party on Saturday night. Karen, I need one of those "make your own meals" store now.

My part of Saturday night is Fish N Chips from Crown and Rose, Cobb Salad from the Brown Derby, Crab and Artichoke Cakes from V &A, Mozzarella & Tomato Salad from Palo's, and a Desert. The neighbors are bringing duck and some other things along with the Twinkie Triamusu from Pop Century

Guess we will see if Twinkies go with Banfi.

Well, I stopped by the Wine Bogetta last night and they don't have any Banfi! Fortunatly, my husbands' cousin owns the store and when the manager heard the I was looking for this product he told me not to worry - especially seeing that this is an Italian sparkling wine! They specialize in Italian Products. He also has a resturant in the neighborhood that sells only Italian wine and beers - Via Valverde -

I LOVE the Cobb salad from the Brown Derby!

Really thought about having it the night we met Gail and family, but decided to have the Tuna instead. It was Good too!! :flower1:

Jim, I would vote for "not as much fun". Karen was only kidding, you don't have to be nice. Remember, this is the thread where you're "known".

Stacey, was hoping you had checked in. Glad all is well, except I assume Molly is still missing? Are your kids coping?

Oh, he knows that now! We got it all cleared up. I had to bribe him with cookies, but it's all good. :)

Oh, smooth. Especially since my mom and dad lurk on this thread.

Yeah, mom. This was the guy who gave me advice about drywall (just so you have a reference point)
I love ya, mom!

HA! Me too! In fact, a couple of years ago my mom told me "you shouldn't eat raw cookie dough b/c of the uncooked eggs and the risk of salmonella." But my argument is I've been eating raw cookie dough for 25 or so years and I haven't gotten it yet! ;)

If you'd rather I didn't make cookies, I'll abide. But if Jim is upset with that I'll have to blame it all on you! ;) ;) ;)

NO - Please make cookies. I just wanted you forwarned about the dough issue. I have 1 more lb to go and then I can go back to "normal" eating habits which certainly will include a cookie now and then. I am sure I can do it by the time you arrive (new incentive)

Insulting someone's Mother. Man that is cold. And just for cookies. Even I wouldn't do that, unless they are really good cookies then Sorry Mom.

I hate to brag, but I make a mean cookie. :)

And an awesome loaf of homemade bread....which, as a matter of fact, if now proofing in the kitchen. one loaf for us. one for our sorta new neighbors. ;)

Just find me the butter.....

Gosh, I'd send you some, but it's NEVER good the next day. Ever. That's why I always have to find *someone* to give a loaf away to. The recipe makes 2 loaves--and it doesn't work well in my Kitchenaid to only make one. Since it doesn't taste as good the next day I'm always racking my brain trying to find someone who'd like bread. My neighbors are ALWAYS happy when I ring the bell and I've got warm bread in my hand!! :)

That's the spirit!!

Give me a goal.

So is this river where the crime boss dumps his past business associates? It doesn't look that bad....
