Wow, I'm only up to the group photo day and it's bringing back such great memories!!! :)

About the group photo....this is a different one than I have. In mine, the guy behind me is staring off to the left.

Also...I've searched, but I think I'm missing it....but where is Sue? I see Jeanne, but "where's Sue?"

On the lefthand stair with I think Kevin's hand on her shoulder?

There were three pics:

- One without David & co entirely
- One with some people out of position (the one you got)
- And the one we've posted.

When Stacey went thru them, she had them hold them and make reprints of the third one.

Bummer. Ah, well, I've got one that is unique!! :)

Mary, reading your trip report....

You said "Soon we were back on the ship and sailing away. We went to deck 4 to watch sailaway and met up with gaRry, Vicki and their son Gregg. At this point it was starting to hit me how fast this cruise was going. We only had one more sea day and Castaway Cay left!"

That's when it hit me too. During the previous days it felt like things were going slowly and I had all the time in the world. Then St. Thomas day came and I realized there was very little time left. :(

Bummer....read in the trip report that you saw the film about dry dock. We had been telling my parents about all the things they had done (we saw the film in May) and kept watching the Navigator to see when it was going to be on, but never saw it listed. I just checked our Navigator for that last sea day and it doesn't mention dry dock. Just says "see our behind the scenes magic in action followed by a Q&A session ..." :( So sorry we missed it!

I don't want to go on our 4/30/05 cruise. I just checked. NOT ONE single post since 11/21/04. That's like 6 weeks!!

NO WAY this one will come close to the 10 day. WAAAAA!!

Okay... pictures are transferred from camera to hard drive. Just need to pretty them up and get them on a CD. Count us in on the CD trade!

Weigh-in results: ohioMickey: 5 pounds
ohiominnie: 2.5 pounds (or so she says :D )

I had a great time meeting everyone and am looking forward to the May '06 cruise!

Would a woman lie about her weight? I think NOT! :)

Karen, now there's a way to eliminate some cruises! Base it on the best thread. I think that's perfectly legit.

Mike, nice to see you posting. We need more couples posting together, keeps things honest. puckerup:

Are you suggesting embellishment is OK???

I actually went in expecting it to be the Q&A session with the Captain and all the officers. At first I was a bit bummed that it was a movie but then it got so fascinating that I was glad we stayed.

Now that we've been home a few days and I've gone over things in my brain for the trip reports I've been thinking of things I wish I had done but didn't.

1 - I never did make it to any of the morning walks and wish I had.

2 - Never had breakfast or lunch in Lumiere's. Always seemed we were on a deadline and Topsiders just seemed so much faster.

3 - Missed getting to meet so many DIS'ers. I really enjoyed meeting the ones that I did, but it seems like we missed meeting so many others. Most likely because of the whole early vs. late seating.

4 - In the future instead of having a ladies night out maybe we should have a ladies afternoon. While it was fun with all the music etc. it was hard to hear what others were saying. It would have been nice to maybe put an hour aside one afternoon and get together to just chat.

5 - I didn't keep up my journal as much as I wanted. Guess that was because I was so busy doing that I didn't have much time for writing.

All of these are overshadowed by how much we were able to do. I have such wonderful memories that will stay with me for many years to come.

The highlights of these are:

1 - Being at the front of the line with the Burt and Gose families and getting to meet so many DIS'ers in the terminal.

2 - The group photo shoot and wine party. What a wonderful way to celebrate being together. What a great looking group.

3 - Linda's scrapbooking session. It was fun to sit with everyone and share ideas. Linda brought so many goodies for us as well - thank you!

4 - The early seating dining group. What a wonderful group of people. It was such fun to get together each evening and discuss the days events. It wasn't just limited to our own table either. There was lots of mixing and mingling before, after and even during dinner.

5 - Most of all it was just seeing so many DIS'ers on a daily basis. It seemed that no matter what event we went to or what hall we were walking down that there was a friendly face. Sometimes it would be no more than a quick hello. Other times we would stop and chat. It even happened off the ship. I remember when we were looking for Jill's family on Coki beach and ran across Phil and Tracey. While talking to them one of the vendors asked if this was the family we were looking for and we said no. I think it was Tracey that said "they know about a 100 families". :D

So thanks again everyone for making this cruise the best ever!

I find the 2.5 pound gain hard to believe having seen how many times ohiominnie went through the Palo brunch line. :D

:earseek: :earseek: You dog! What happens in Palo is supposed to STAY in Palo.

(I find it hard to believe that Ken didn't have anything better to do on his cruise than monitor my food intake!) ;) ;) :duck:

Hope you're feeling better soon, Ken! :)
