"Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" - Pike-
Lol! we kept bothering Pike about that on Castaway Cay. it didn't make him too happy. :earboy2:

that was by far the best Disney cruise they could ever have!! the funniest thing i have ever seen was the skit by the cruise staff...especially Travis's part. :earboy2: their staff on this cruise was amazing. i don't remember any of the staff from our last cruise but i'll be remembering the ones from this cruise for a long, long time.

Hello to all,
What a fantastic cruise! Yes, we are all still swaying or as DD says our heads feel "twirly". SL was a our fav island overall with SJ a real close 2nd. There was so much to do, I feel like we only sampled a bit of the cruise activities. So of course we signed up for 3 more! Wait listed on the 14 day repo cruise, then Thanksgiving 05, May 06 and Christmas 06.

It was great to have so many DIS folks on the ship, I regret that I did not get to spend time with each of you and hope to do so on the next round.

Regarding the "Moose" holiday ornament, I am tracking down the information to order and will come back with more information.

Now we are driving to my folks for the family gift exchange. Thank you to everyone for making our vacation so great!

Well, we made it home.

I don't think there are words to describe what a great trip it was. DCL succeeded in their "Once in a Lifetime". It was hard to say goodbye.

The one word that comes to mind for me is "exhausted". I slept the whole four hours on the plane. I woke up a couple of times both on the plane and last night at home, confused as to where I was.
And wondering if our teens were pulling yet another "all-nighter". At least they can say they had a good time!
Haven't read any of the posts yet. Heading out to pick up Molly.
My house needs to quit rocking. :boat: Never felt sea sick the whole time, until now!!

Welcome home to all those who are here!!
For those of you at WDW......have a great rest-of-your-trip!! Wish we were there!

Stacey

This morning was our official post-cruise weigh in.

Jim - Gained 7 lbs
Sharon - Gained 3 lbs
Matt - the kid who eat before dinner each night and than ate at both seatings - gained 0 lbs. Yes, 0 lbs. I guess running up and down the stairs chasing girls really does burn off the calories.
Jim...isn't that all water/wine weight gain though....LOL
I am very happy to report I also gained 0 pounds, although it somehow feels like 20......... must have been all that dancing.........or maybe someone messed with my scale........ :cheer2:

We got home here to South Florida and I crashed and slept for almost 6 hours! I NEED A VACATION to recuperate from this cruise!!

CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG!!!

Hello all,

I thought I was the only one who was wobbling this morning, waiting to get my "landlegs" back!

thanks for addding to the best Disney Cruise ever

How cool was it to walk all around the ship and always see someone you knew from DIS !

That definitely helped make this trip even more special!

- David

We had a great time. All of you made Jeanne feel so special. She had the best cruise of her life (not counting the trips she shared with my Dad). Everyone was so friendly and alot of fun. Thank you all so much. I did rebook several cruises while on board, 1/28/06 (sis b'day western cruise), 5/27/06 and the 12/16/06 (10 night holiday cruise). I must admit I am very glad to be home with Jesse and Sam, and our little Magic(sleeping curled up next to DM right now) and Wonder(sitting on DM's pillow purring) are glad we are back.

Now let me see...

Leslie, does that mean that Gloria will make an appearance on the repo cruise in May 2005??? LOL

Well, We made it home yesterday - fairly exhausted. We came home to sad news, though, my wife's cat Minx had died a couple of hours prior to us getting home. Frances was absolutely devastated, as she wanted to be with her at the end. Minx was 19 so it wasn't unexpected. Luckily the neighbor was checking on her - and knew she wasn't doing well - so she stayed until Minx had passed so Minx wasn't alone. Today was tough - as it was the first time in 19 years that Frances didn't have to feed Minx first thing on awakening.

That sad news aside, what a wonderful trip we had. I was trying to temper my expectations - because there was no way that it could live up to the billing. Well, I think that it did. It was so much fun meeting everybody in person. My family could not have asked for better dinner partners than Joe and Leslie. I'm sorry that we missed Match your Mate... and the Pub night.....

Well.... I'll be back later....Kristin got off to England OK - exhausted - but she also said what a great time.

Hi everyone! Not even going to attempt any kind of catchup yet.. We're home, just got in from running around for essentials, and need to start unpacking and downloading pictures.

In brief- Garry- hope you're feeling better. Virgil, sorry to hear about that. We had the same dilemma many years ago with a bunny.

And neither of us weighed beforehand this trip, so nothing to compare to. The funny thing is, in the past, when we've checked, I've actually lost weight on the cruise. But typically didn't use the elevators very much at all either.

Slightly IMPORTANT- - Robin's cancelling Cruise chat for Friday (NYE), and is suggesting a special chat Sunday the 9th instead for us to chat it up with each other and towards the 06 crowd.

Hi all! Got home this afternoon and after doing some running around we are finally settled in at our computers!

Thanks to all who made this cruise so special!

Virgil - give Frances a hug for us.

GaRry - know that we love you. Best wishes. Hopefully now that vacation is over you can relax a little and get back on track.

Need to get all my thoughts gathered up and then I'll start posting my trip reports.

Hi all.

I posted some pics. These were the digi pics and the 35mm haven't been developed yet. (I hope I got some good sea turtle pics in St, Thomas :smooth: )

This was one of the most fantastic cruises I've ever been on and definately the most memorable Xmas ever! Each day was a tropical paradise and each night was Disney Holiday cheer. Wish they had another in 2005! :sad2:

We have arrived back in the UK this morning -flight was delayed by nearly 2 hours so we didnt leave until 9:30 last night and arrived home local time at 10 this morning. Still havent quite got our land legs back!

If anyone was at the 2nd show on Friday night we were the couple on the stage with the magician- much to our sons delight.

Virgil, sorry to here about the cat - one of ours was ill when we we cruised in 2002 and it took the edge off the whole cruise, when we got home he was so poorly we had to let him go. 19 is a good age. My husband took his bread sauce and they made it up for us - eventually, had to get it authorised by the head chef for 'safety' reasons.

Weight count - I have put on 12 pounds! Need to lose it before the Aug repo cruise!

It is strange being home without any of the decs being up - feels like we have 'skipped christmas' in a strange way!

We too topped up on DVC points - seemed a good idea at the time.

Now off to plan Aug trip.

Lorraine

Hi all. Yep, we too made it home safe and sound. Anyone else go through LAX yesterday?!? Wow, what a rainstorm! I've never seen it rain that hard in CA.

Virgil, our condolences to you, Frances, and the kids. When I was young, I had a dog pass while I was on vacation. To this day, I say good-bye to all my "kids" every day as I leave the house, just in case.

It was great meeting everyone on the ship! Though we didn't join for all of the DIS events, we did for some and they were a blast.

We ended up signing up for the 2006 10-day holiday cruise - just couldn't resist. How many others did the same?

Travis was the soldier, the girl that was the black jack dealer had some L name that was hard to remember :earboy2:, i think the taxi driver was bert or brent...i know it was a B name and he said honk honk here and a honk honk there, the lighthouse girl had an R name...gee i'm not helping am i?? but she did say quick flash here...not little :earboy2:, que said shut their eyes, lay them out, shut them in a box, karen was the seamstress who sang "half a yard, cut it by the inch", and doug's last part was hard to understand..."show my airy best?" i don't know...it was some french word i think...some french ballet term. :earboy2: i really wish i had run up to the room to get the video camera...i thought about doing it...but then decided against it.
