We are heading to Cast Away Cay and today, in my opinion, we are having our roughest seas. Hopefully they will be able to dock.

No one is up and moving this morning, but than again it is 5:30 am. The best part of this morning is having the time to go have coffee in the Quiet Cove before everyone wakes up.

Good Morning everyone.

Have a great day at CC today. I hope the seas calm down.

If any of you are from Long Islad, NY ( I know DJS113-David is ) We received 6 inches of snow overnight. It is suppose to warm up into the 40's over the week. David will be coming home to snow. It will only be in the 20's today.

Have a fun day today. I am looking forward to CC next week. I will be ready to get on a plane this Wednesday.

Time is flying as I can not believe your cruise is almost over. I am looking forward to reading all about it when I retun on 1/8/05. We are looking forward to sailing on the Magic. We have only been on the Wonder and it was back in August of 03.

Regards to all-Gail :boat: :boat: :boat: :boat:

It was so wonderful to read all about it.

That is great that a bunch of you booked in 5/2006 together.

Diana-Looking forward to meeting you and your family tomorrow night.
We moved to Port Orleans Riverside NOT Frenchside I will e mail you and PM Kevin.

Have a safe trip home everyone.

I will speak to you all when we return from our trip on 1/8/05.

I will try to post from the Magic. We will be on the 4 nighter ( 1/4-1/8)with Andy(Verandah Man) and a whole bunch others. We will be having a DIS meeting on 1/4/05 at 5 pm on the Promanade. It should be a lot of fun as there are a lot of newbies that joined us as well.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL.

Fondly, Gail :flower1:

I think I am the first person to post from home after the cruise.

This cruise was one of the best if not the best i have ever been on. Hope everybody had the same ammout of fun as I did.

Castaway Cay sucked for us :(..I think it was as bad as it could get. First, we hit a cold front so it was about 60 degrees out (I'm from florida,...its cold for me..defidently not swimming weather not that it matters anyway..read on) so its freezing. And i'm on my way to the teen lounge for "Wild Side" and the cruise director announces that all shore excursions are canceled (we had booked Parasailing, wild side, banana boating ect.) theeen they announce that the preditor barrior walls had broken and two big sharks got stuck in them so we couldn't swim anyways..so all there was to do is sit and be cold, go biking and shop. But everything else was so great! I'm going to have pictures up later (I took about 600 pictures) :cool1:

Bear had an incredible time on the cruise. So did his parents. :)

Of course you and boaguy can post first, you're home! :p

We're here at Beach Club Villas about to go attend the Merry Member Mixer and go into Epcot for the evening.

We got to ride in style, pic later.

Hello everyone. We were on the cruise that just got home today as well. Although I have been reading these boards for a year I have never posted. You all did seem to have so much fun together. We are booked in June for west coast will try to find thread for that so that next time we can be a part of all that merriment. What an awesome time this past 10 days. It was our 4th disney cruise. (Second this year)So sorry I did not get to be a part of your fun.

So sorry you did not post earlier and get involved. Yes, we had a great time as DIS'ers. Glad to see you will be involved with the DIS boards for the next one.

Our family was one of the first to board the ship. We walked on with Mark and Mary, and the Gooses. We had Disney annouce us as the DIS Family. How true, even more when leaving the ship!

We had the fear that this cruise would never live up to our expectations, especially after planning it for 18 months. How wrong we were! This group made it the best cruise ever, even Scuba Matt agreed (of course he got a Palo's filet from the Walt Suite which was the high light of his trip).

We were back to work today. Hope everyone enjoys their extra vacation.

We are home and tucking the kiddies into bed. What a great cruise!! We actually had fun at Castaway Cay, despite the weather. Our kids and Dee47's son created an intricate system of sand castles with tunnels and secret doors... We live very close to the beach here in Charleston but without the Pixie dust, the children are just less gleeful... Plus, Cookie's food is awesome, not to mention the icecream drink

Thanks GaRy for the awesome shirts!! So many people stopped us to ask us where they could get some.

Thanks Seaulator for the super-cool pirate buttons! Without the advice of you guys, I would have been so ill-prepared for pirate night. We had a blast!

We are signed up for the Holiday 2006 cruise. We might sneak one more in there in the meantime.

Hope everyone is safe and sound at home or WDW - hope you are all still rocking with the waves - I know I am!

Take care,
Sarah

Well.............we are home. Got the kids and grandkids on their way.

Now, I really need a vacation.

It was a grand 10 days. Wish it could have been longer.

My favorite night-Pirate night!
My favorite picture-Gloria Gaynor aka Leslie
My favorite activity-hanging out with all the Dis'ers for 10 days!

It was a great trip. Can't wait for the 14 days through the PC!

Linda

Hello everyone

We are home as well. The kids opened the large presents that Santa couldn't deliver to the Magic.
Very excited kids tonight......Jessica and Erik have already mentioned their desire to continue cruising on an annual basis. It was truly a fantastic vacation.

Thank you everyone to help make our first Disney cruise something very special and something we will never forget.

I am hoping to stay in touch and hope to one day return and hopefully see some, if not all of you again.I

By the way....... I had no idea that some of you were still posting while on board.
I should have known better.

Is anyone else still walking funny?......its as if I was still on board wobbling around. Very strange.
I was doing that on some of the islands even before the rougher seas last night.
And No .....I don't have a drinking problem.

I'll check in tomorrow.

Gus

Good Morning everyone.

I wanted to wish you all a wonderful New Years filled with all wonderful and magic for 2005. This year flew by. I look forward to hearing in detail all about the 10 day sail. We are leaving for the airport at 4:30am. We have a 6:30am flight. I had trouble sleeping. DD is also up. DH is up thanks to me clicking away on the laptop. Watching Soapnet. I will try to post from the Magic when we are on. We will be getting on 1/4/05 for 4 nights. I look forward to being on the ship for the first time. We were on the Wonder back in 8/2003.

We will be back in NY on 1/8/05.

I loved reading the live reports. Thanks to all who posted.

God Bless-Fondly, Gail :grouphug:

Yes Gus it took all day getting our land legs back. Sitting at the desk yesterday was tough all day long.

Sorry you had to go back so soon. I talked to Kevin last night and gave him some ideas about diving with the Manatees. I can't make it because of work, but Matt might go. After the blue waters of the caribean the 72 degree waters of the springs sounds cold.

This morning was our official post-cruise weigh in.

Jim - Gained 7 lbs
Sharon - Gained 3 lbs
Matt - the kid who eat before dinner each night and than ate at both seatings - gained 0 lbs. Yes, 0 lbs. I guess running up and down the stairs chasing girls really does burn off the calories.

well i'm here.

VERY NICE CRUISE THANK YOU ALL.

PS I HAVE T SHIRTS LEFT AND SOME TREE ORNAMENTS ALSO.

FIRST POST FIRST GET.

THANK YOU ALL.

sorry about the last days of the cruise my illness did get the best of me then.
Most or alot of you do not know about my illness. guess I didnot want sorrow from anyone. SO when I left dinner with out saying anything I was losing I do hope I did not get anyone mad at me for that.

Well it was a great cruise. VERY nice time. I do hope to cruise with this and the other CRAZY DIS BOARD GROUPS.

:cool1: :cool1: :jumping1: :thewave:

I will post more at home.

THANK YOU ALL AGAIN GREAT CRUISE

Leslie, We re in Isleworth. I have an 8, 5, and 2 year old. I guess I honestly thought that these boards were for pumping you up before you went on your cruise. Never realized that you met once on board or that you would plan activities. It was strange this cruise because when we went in July I could not drag my 5 DS (then 4) out of the 3-4 program. This time he acted like I was torturing him if I left him. My 8DS lived in the lab and could not be drug out of there even at midnight. My 2 DD spent the entire time looking for characters and dressing up pretty. As for my husband and myself, we loved Key West like always, we walked around St Maarten and could not wait to get back on board. Hated it. St Lucia was gorgeous. We did the "Cruise to the Pitons". I have never been to any caribbean island as friendly, but obviously they were trying to impress. Pitons were magnificent. Description in pamphlet does not describe it well. It was awesome. Shopped in Antigua found some beautiful bracelets in adult sizes. I mentioned I was looking for my 2 DD. They said they could make them while I waited 2 for $5. St Thomas we went to Magens Bay on our own ( Ships excursion was full) Absolutely the most gorgeous beach I have ever been to. At depths of 6 feet could still see feet. Was easy to get to and from on own. $6 pp each way 13 min drive. 100's of taxis waiting there when you are ready to come back. We also had a blast on Castaway Cay despite the weather. So was the true story that there were 2 sharks stuck in the net ( and does that mean inside the confines of the net or in the net) or is that the National Ennquirer version. Sorry so long

Well, we got home last night about 7pm.

Torey and I so enjoyed meeting all of you. We had an absolutely grand time! How fortunate we were to have been on the Best Disney Cruise Ever with such great folks like you all!

And yes, we have the Gloria (and John Travolta) pics which I'll have to post soon... unless Leslie comes up with the ransom!

Cheers... and Happy New Year to everyone!

John
