I NEVER WENT TO BED!!

But was done packing by 3 a.m. and figured, why get in bed. So watched the Apprentice finale and now I'm checking in before we fly, fly, away.

I think we must have at least 30 bags in the back of the trucks!!!

We are one of the few families who haven't left yet. Ah, the life of a teacher's family. No getting out of school early here. DH has 15 min from when school ends to when Metrocars is picking us up for the airport. I guess I'd better take a shower and do last minute chores.

Made it back from Orlando late Wednesday, finished up work yesterday and stayed up late late late (or should I say early) to finish the packing. The wait is finally over! We are ready to go!

Will be leaving shortly after lunch to pick up the kids and DW at their schools, then we'll be on our way! Everyone please have a safe journey. Looking forward to meeting ya'll!

tksbaskets - DW is the teacher in our family and of course today is a critical day for her - no personal days off allowed. Certainly can relate to your statement. But just think, no school for 2-3 weeks!!! Have a very safe trip down!

It's interesting how you can get attached to something like a camera. I know that we all resist change and that familiarity is good. It's always nice to know how to make use of the cameras abilities.

I have seen some pretty good deals on those discontinued models as well.

My thinking is that 4 megs is all that I need. It has functions that I will never use and the newer ones only have more functions that I will never use.

At what point is there a marginal rate of return?

We're still home, DS is at school, DH is running some errands and I'm going crazy trying to get everything packed. I can't wait to get in the car this afternoon and probably sleep all the way to the Cape.
