Brain Malfunction!!

What is the weight limit of checked bags? At the airport. I almost broke my bathroom scale. It wouldn't register with just the suitcase on it, so I held the suitcase, and weighed.

Stacey - just in case you have gotten this question answered - If I remember correctly you are flying America West - ? the weight limit is 50 pounds - but I think you said you were flying First Class - right? Well we fly first class on America West and they never check the bags' weight for the 1st class flying.
